My name is Lubomir Mojzes, I am a product and graphic designer, aircraft modeler, engineer, woodworker. I have designed known and less-known products for European and Japanese companies. I love slope flying, building models in classic style, alpine nature, mountains, pastures and good food. I love my old cello, classical music and my workshop.

I didn't even want to build the Topsy model originally. It wasn't my boyhood dream. But I won it in a lottery at a Graupner event and the kit was prepared so nice and clean that I couldn't resist building Topsy. In the end, I have to say, I loved Topsy. The DANDY school glider is perhaps one of the best slope gliders. All it needs is moderate wind conditions and it keeps me happy on the slope for hours. And just by laying it on the grass, the surrounding nature is a little nicer. A very aesthetic and simple model that always makes me happy. Music: Ludovico Einaudi

I love to fly the MPX Heron. It is a very capable glider for it's size. My Heron look's very used and it is. Yours is a real beauty and the custom servo connectors for aileron/flaps are well made.

Schönes Topsy, bei dem Baukasten wurde einiges geändert, Fahrwerk, Randbogen Seiten und Höhenruder, die Beplankung hatte das Topsy auch nicht. bin auf deine Flugerfahrung gespannt, eigentlich fliegen die Modelle hervorragend. bei meinem Letzten Topsy bich ich einen anderen weg gegangen und versucht es möglichst leicht zu Bauen, 220gr so ist es schön Langsam, aber auch sehr empfindlich auf Wind. Gruß Rolf
Der Bausatz ist genau nach dem Original gemacht. Alle Änderungen, die dort sind, habe ich selbst vorgenommen, weil sie Verbesserungen darstellen. Das Modell sieht schöner aus als das Original, aber es ist immer noch Topsy. 🙂 Mir gefällt das so. 🙂 Gruß Lubomir

I too have two Lentus.. Second one yet to be built. It's a backup if I were to every crash #1.. I love this plane. I put a 1,000 watt drive system in mine so the climb is quite impressive and still on 3s for lightweight
Krásne. Spomínam. Bol to môj prvý model, ktorý som sám riadil. Rok 1976 myslím. Motor MVVS 1,5 ccm, rádio Modela jednokanál modrý vysielač. Chystám sa ho znova postaviť, stále som odkladal, ale toto je iné nakopnutie. Bude síce už tiež elektromotor, ale poťah chcem ako kedysi - papier, štetec veveričí a Spannfix/Alkyfix ako kedysi.
Ďakujem. 🙂 Ano, je to velká nostalgie a stále, po malých geometrických úpravách, vynikajúcí a krásně jednoduchý model. Zlatý vek modelárstva je nesmrtelný 🙂

I find this way of constructing a model quite interesting and actually very smart indeed. It simplyfies things that need to fit in a certain orientation. Not entirely new (the Graupner Der Kleine Uhu did similar things more than 30 years ago) but the way and the locations in which you utilize 3D printed parts is (as I already said) quite intelligent. I have learned something today, thank you very much for the inspiration!

It's a very good thermal glider
It will thermal but only up fairly high, all the foam models are almost twice as heavy as a same size modern balsa glider.. Those are the gliders that you can thermal from even at 100 feet..

@@lubomirmojzes no the CG for the Lentus. What device are shown to meassure CG. It is the yellow device you show
@@damhoj Yes, it's a scale for weighing models and determining their CG. I got it from a modeler. But the detailed instructions for building the whole scale, including data for 3D printing and programming the microprocessor, is somewhere on the net. Google will help. I think it's called the "CG Scale".

Bei mir frühpubertäre Erinnerungen an Balsa und Ponal. Später habe ich dann "Die Großen" geflogen. Heute fliege ich wieder mit Modellen, wie damals als Junge... Mein Amigo sah allerdings wesentlich schlechter aus!

Incredible work. My congratulations for this exceptional result of rebuilding this vintage transmitter. I had a yellow 12S Varioprop and a black 8s many years ago. But they are long gone.

has any one removed the stickers off the lentus without damage to the foam including leaving a matt looking area.
Id doubt youd damage the foam, I think its elapor which is a form of epp..

My compliments, I started flying my Lentus one year ago and since I was very satisfied, I bought a second one a few months ago (just in case. As usual for me, I covered my Lentus with vinyl DC-FIX: It adds weight but it increases the strenght a lot. My Lentus weights 3.2 kg but anyway, it flies very well. Powered with 4S and a 14x8 prop .
I covered My EPO Models with 3 mil laminating film (new stuff). Recently I bought a MPX Lentus kit, it has more work than they RR version, but I can install metal geared servos instead of the plastic ones. Hope to fly it soon
