Not you trying to make enemies in the streets whilst technically still homeless.🤣🤣 With the fish, best practice is to sell them quickly after catching them as they go off and that makes them lose value when you sell them. They can't be bred unfortunately. The only other thing you can do with them is mount them to be place on your walls as decorations. The plants, you need to plant a few to earn good money from them, so create a garden area using the terrain tool and arrange the plants there whilst in build but. To increase your gardening skill you need to keep harvesting more plants around the area, willow creek, newcrest and oasis springs all have good areas you can travel back and forth to to harvest plants and dig for minerals. That way you also get to explore the other worlds too, as two of them have hidden worlds you can travel to as well. Try to slowly build walls start with a box room that way your sim has a little shelter where you can fit the bed, toilet and shower.

TIPS FROM YOUR GAMEPLAY SO FAR __You can sell almost anything that is in your inventory __Fish cannot be eaten or grilled without a mod. You can only sell it. __Visit parks or areas that have grills, you are likely to find a sim cooking up a storm, and you can just grab a serving. __Harvest fruits and veg that you can eat (raw) if your sim is very hungry. __Take any other fruit, veg or plants you have harvested(do not uproot them, it destroys the plant lol) and plant them on your lot so they can grow and you can sell them daily from there. __The frogs are valued between 10 Simoleans to 160 Simoleans, keep two at a time to breed them and sell the third one you have just bred for extra cash. When you find the 160 one, don't sell it, keep breeding it with others until you get two 160 ones or till you find another 160 one, then breed those to get a third one you can sell each time you breed the two and have a pot of at least 160 every few hours each day. __Other sims won't let you shower/cook/sleep in their beds, they will chuck you out🤣🤣. You can use the sink at the park to wash your hands many times to get clean. __The rocks have a variety of gems and capsules you can open then sell for cash. __Rummaging through bins I recommend finding trash or dirty dishes and throwing them in the bin, and you'll be able to rummage through it ADDITIONAL TIPS __In rags to riches with limited packs, Oasis Springs is the most beneficial world. The park has a nice space to keep entertained, stay warm, get clean, use toilet and nap, there are multiple fishing spots, lots of places to dig for minerals, lots of places to find frogs, and there is always someone cooking food at the various BBQ stand spots. __There are tons of ways to make money when you have 0 in the bank ________Sell Harvestables via the inventory or from those you have planted ________Sell fish you have fished for, higher chance of more fish is using the harvested plants as bait. Sell the fish ASAP, cause when they go foul they get cheaper to sell ________There is a guitar in the Oasis Springs park, use it to practice playing and you will be tipped money, the higher your playing level the larger the tips get ________Take pictures from your phone and sell them, they will be poor quality at first but when you get better the price gets higher ________In Willow Creek, there is a place that looks like an allotment, you can harvest plants there daily(FYI, plants rejuvenate every day, and so do gems to dig for, so return everyday on the same places to harvest and dig) __Once you have some money ________You can buy an isle and paint and sell the paintings ________Buy a computer and do things like write books, programming and get daily royalties. ________Buy a camera to take better pictures to sell ________Buy a guitar/microphone/piano/violin to perform for tips ________Take on odd jobs if you have reached that level in the challenge(speaking of, are you following the rags to riches challenge rules?) You can use the rewards store to have him take the focused potion, or he can take a brisk shower to be energized, and make sure he has eaten breakfast before its time to go to work, and at work before going to crime scenes😅😅 I think the clues were the burnt floor parts.

Gotta love a good rags to riches! Can’t get enough of them personally. I’m more than likely going to write a book long comment but it’s the things I’ve seen and done myself in this game(my apologies if it’s too long): 1. With the plants or gardening you usually have to wait until it says you can Harvest. If you Uproot it, it’s just destroying the plant. 2. With the fish I believe you need like a campfire or access to a stove or grill to cook it. 3. I’ve seen people get money by collecting gems and things from the little gem rocks (can’t think of the name right now) but it usually says “Dig” when you click on it. 4. You can collect and breed frogs from these little log type things (it’s not the most money but a little helps sometimes) 5. Oh an if you have city living, you can collect the posters that are hung up on these little power boxes? I think it’s power boxes lol. They also have random boxes that are just set down that you can rummage through for items that you can possibly sell. Hopefully this wasn’t too long. There’s so many different ways to make money in here without actually working. Just depends on how creative, or messed up you want to be lol
