Don't know if its just normal respect or what......really the ambulance had it's lights on and trying to race through the band to either make it to someone or to a hospital but NORMAL hospitality is to move out the way which they did but really if there was someone in the ambulance at least stop playing for the respect of the person in the ambulance,not hating just saying😕

snares get all the glory but the best drummers in the line are the tenors. snares only have to play one drum. tenors are playing five, and having a blast doing it. i would grab a snare from one of them and play their part easily. they couldn't dream of playing mine.

so cool that they didn't miss a beat, got off the road for the ambulance, and went right back at it.

If this video shows anything, it is the discipline that one learns while in marching band.

Some of the things I've read....How about the fact that they are all going to school for free. All these first response people on here are just trying to bash people. Everyone likes a good marching band, and furthermore, like I said, these "pimple faced braces wearing band geeks armed with drumsticks" are attending college for free, earning degrees so that they can get a real job. Because if I'm not mistaken, it only takes a 6-month course to become and EMS.

I respect what EMT'S have done for the population, but as a marching band member i'm gonna have to say your incredibly cheesy and terrible first line of insults doesn't scare me either. in any other situation, you never cross the ranks. this MIGHT be an exception had you been respectful and polite, but no you had to insult a random marching band kid. good for you, Mr. Paramedic.

Good god, im glad i gave up drums and marching band for fire and EMS. Im laughing at the comments with the band kids trying to be bad ass. BTW, South Bend is my dream career fire department.
