I love this song. It reminded me of what it was like for me in the 60’s. I’m waisted and I can’t find my way home. Sometimes it was scary and dangerous. In the beginning it was BEAUTIFUL later everything turned serious. Bad drugs, evil people prayed upon the young starry eyed innocents and a lot of us died, we were lucky to make our way out . I got out of at the age of17.

Was working a Grammy Party at Chasen's, the party room was just filled with famous musicians and trying to slide through. I see Lou Reed walking in my direction and as he passes me I look at him and say, Now this is a Walk on The Wild Side. He was nice and agreed.. Afterwards, I felt it was a little corny! (RIP)
