It's a custom model made from a modified version of the adult bulborb that is rigged to the pikmin armature. It replaces white pikmin in the hack, as they aren't used in the main story.

I created the models myself based on the adult bulborb model, imported them into the game, and then replaced the white pikmin model with the one seen in this video. The candypops are retextured white candypops. So they don't have environmental resistances, but it's as close as I could get given the current available modding tools.

Cool, I wonder though if it would become possible in the future, is it not possible to create a new Pikmin type? The pikpik carrots are in the game, but they are buggy

@@kuutti256 pik pik carrots are indeed buggy. The issue with pikmin 3 is that it's code hasn't been decompiled as much as pikmin 1 or 2 so there are certain values we're simply unable to modify. Hopefully with more work on that front we'll be able to fix the carrots to be usable as a new pikmin type. However as far as adding completely new pikmin types to the game, I'm not sure that's been done in any pikmin game yet. It would require a lot of custom code and a completely decompiled version of the game.

Agreed. And that was the original intent of this mod. However, due to limitations with how much is possible to edit in the Pikmin 3 game files, this is as close as I could get.

Purple pikmin weigh more then bulbmin

Technically. They could have an onion. But the seed will product a small parasite pikmin and not a bulbmin. Bulbmin is the name of the parasite in a bulborb's body. That's why there are really rare. Maybe there are the green one or black one. But infecting a predature seems to be really complicated. Maybe that's why the developers decided to not making an onion.

@@noathern I don't thing it s gonna be possible. There are so many things to do, like a night journey, multiple players, reunite all the pikmin, exploit the explosion weekness... This kind of pikmin seems to create a farming aspect in this game. Farming is present but it isn't the main aim of the series. I hope I m wrong...

There is an unused model for them in the pikmim 3 files. But I implemented my own model by shrinking down an adult bulborb and adding a stem. These bulbmin just replace white pikmin in the game files.

pluck-a-lock? you mean the pluck-a-phone? not sure if the mechanics for that would be supported in Pikmin 3 at all. a lot of those values are hard coded meaning they're much more difficult to modify.
