@BrKFX I think the creators will be coming out with a new cobra kai game. It would make sense as dojos rising covers up to s4, and the Sakai taikai is a very important plot point in the series.

Get the character selector mod from nexus. After you install it, go to the closet of the Wuguan, and it should be there.

You don't need to play the first one to play this one. But if you want a better gameplay exp I'd go with the first one. The 2nd game does have a lot to offer than the first, but the amount of bugs on there ruins it for a lot of ppl. But up to you which one u wanna play.

@FajrulFnf it seems easy to do, but you'd be surprised how many tries I had to do to get this far! But in really enjoying the combat mechanics so that helps 🙂

Yea they could've done that. They also could've done a freeflow style gameplay with cobra kai considering Karate is about striking and countering which freeflow features work very well on. Unfortunately, the developers aren't on the same page as us when it comes to it. But hey, we get a cobra kai game so it is what it is.

Ikr. It seems like they introduced Zara as the Yasmine of karate, why even have Yasmine as a playable character here??

I agree. Free flow combat system works well with a Cobra Kai game, esp if you got light attacks, heavy attacks, counters, etc. The cobra kai games felt like it was created by developers who haven't played fighting games.

@FreeFlowFireF3 exactly!!...looks like they tried to make an old fashion arcade style somewhat and make it appealing to kids but Cobra Kai has much more darker/mature themes which the games should follow. I never played these and I most likely won't.

It doesn't come with that option. This is a demo version, my guess is the developers want to ease potential players to the combat system before giving config settings to turn it off. All we gotta do is wait for the full version to come out. But it'll be cool if we got the option to turn it off.

@bertbrooks1116 there's a note in the game that says the demo doesn't reflect the quality of the final product, so most likely this is a beta. With the enemies, I think they're alright for a free flow fighting game. It's not very difficult like in sifu, but the fact they can counter your moves does keeps you on your toes, which is something I haven't seen I'm most free flow games. Sleeping dogs do it but that's only when the enemy has a weapon, whereas in this game, both armed and unarmed enemies can counter your moves.

As of right now yea. Though the developers might have plans to release it for consoles as well which I think it's an avenue they should consider.

I agree. It's about time games like this came back. Ik we got Sifu which is similar, but we def need more games like it.
