Did i understand that the (other than B'wd) authorities had to tell P&Z the tenuousness of "whiz-bang" re-zoning is not smart? Also, the City presented "site challenges" included noise filters for the home owners off Hanley? The City did not follow through the LAST time, with a kennel of barking dogs commercial development that P&Z nor the City Adm. ever dealt with noise buffers. Your "progressive" agenda is piece meal, commercially heavy, and commercial includes apartments for an undefined number of people per dwelling. I do not understand whose pockets are really being lined with these rapid developments that are commerce-heavy. Your process reminds me of a 16 year old streetwalker who doesn't see her/himself in a mirror until (s)he is 35. You have NO long view of B'wood, that actually meets B'woods best long term value. Amazing there is not more care taken in polling the citizens before you keep shoving people and businesses into a decreasing space in the "City of Warmth." Not against progress, but against failure to take the long view. Very disappointing.

Way to go Louise C! You did a good job representing your neighbors, and the realities of P&Z foresight not viewed in toto. Much of what is done is compartmentalized--lacking smooth transition. Also Andy Leahy and Maureen Saunders are a great representatives of both their ward, and champions of quality residential concerns. Karen Smith is a welcome addition toP&Z-nice job.
