@WishYouWereHere75 To be fair he's used them since the early 90s. I don't think I've actually ever seen him stop and look at them but I suppose with the way he moves around onstage he could get distracted so they're handy for a quick glance to remind him where he is in the song.

i think axl is a terrible singer. his voice is so... blegh. i like listening to him on my ipod to hearing him live.

You are absolutely right! Anyone who says anything else is wrond, 'Cause Slash has said it himself a hundrer times in interviews. That he was drunk and so where the others in the band and then he started playing this little riff which was a bit difficult because you're fingers cross eachother, so he played it till he got it and then the rest of the band came in, and Axl started thinking about the lyrics :D

I don't line this line-up at all. But you can heard the crowd singing "Sweet child O' mine" GNR has just gotten bigger and bigger with time! What if Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Sorum got together and toured the world now?? It would be insane! And I said Sorum and not Adler because he has lost it. He still can play the drums but i dont know if he's any better than sorum!

@evidentlyavid I don't feel that too many know that the only original members of Guns N' Roses were only Axl and Izzy. When Izzy left the only original member left standing is Axl. Some people don't seem to understand that slash-Duff-Matt-Gilbey were only replacements and there was contraversory with bandmates about slash being hired.

@evidentlyavid You are right about that. If Sweet Child "O" Mine hadn't been pushed by Axl I have no idea of what would of happened to GN'R. That song opened the door a million times over for GN'R.

Sweet Child was founded by Slash jamming around on the pentatonic D scale and Izzy adding some chords to it. So yeah. Izzy Stradlin is cool, but the major songwriter? He wrote you aint the first and 14 years which is probably not the 2 songs every person knows of GnR. Maybe stupid people like Slash from guitar Hero. I like for the music, his bending, the way he can improvise a solo by using just the blues scale and play 3 note beats, as seen in the end solo in hair of the dog, and his precision

Guns N Roses is never the same and fuck anyone who says different. the only origonal member is Axl. and in my opinion, everyone else (Slash,Duff,Matt,Izzy) have done waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fuckin better than Axl. I would love to see them do a reunion before they get old in stuff. but man whatever Axl has against Slash or whatever he needs to just let it go! life is to short to be holding grudges against poeple!
