When I went on a school trip to DC in 2018, one of my classmates was apparently sitting on the rail and they got yelled at. But thankfully everyone else was silent, it’s sad that grown adults can’t follow rules properly sometimes

Back in 2018, my school went on a trip to DC and this was the first thing we did there. Everyone was silent, but some a student or some students were leaning on the rail. So the guard yelled “Do not sit on the rail!”, and I was recording the whole thing and I got it on camera. I can’t imagine how embarrassed the one(s) sitting on the rail were after that.

I don't understand how ppl can be so disrespectful. By not standing for the ceremony. And not staying behind the rails.
