Make sure you've done every step I'm explaining in my how to live loop and setup tutorial: ruclips.net/video/-OK61HxX68I/видео.html (works similar for MiniLab 3 although I demonstrated it with the MK2 + you can leave out the step with pressing ctrl and pad 8 since it is not working like that on MiniLab 3)

Hi, the MiniLab goes directly into the pc via USB. Same for the interface. They are not linked with each other on the hardware side of things. In Ableton you select the MiniLab as a midi input device and your interface as audio output device under preferences.

@@jjjww975 that's correct. It's just another soundcard but way quicker than most onboard pc soundcards, so it helps reducing the time between hitting a key on your MiniLab and hearing the actual sound generated by your computer :)

Yes, a little bit. I'm definitely not a pro when it comes to mixing but volume levels and some equilizers are important. Try to pay attention to the volume meters of each track and the master output. Level them between -18 and -12 db. The master output should be between -12 and -6db :)

Hi, I'm so sorry but I'm not that familiar with fl studio. In most DAW's you have to setup your minilab as a midi device in the preferences. I guess there a some tutorial videos online which can help you out 🦋

@LukTheCoder Das ist nicht so leicht zu erklären und kann unter Umständen sehr komplex sein. Render einfach als mp3 aus Ableton heraus und nimm deinen Bildschirm mit der Software OBS auf. In einem Videobearbeitungsprogramm deiner Wahl (z.B. Lightworks -> kostenlos) kannst du Audio und MP4 dann synchronisieren und als ein Video rendern.

@KnownAsTheInconspicuous Danke dir, OBS kenne ich eh schon und Videos habe ich auch schon öfters gecutted oder sonstiges für Freunde und muss halt nach dem Programm Lightworks schauen wenn du das empfehlst. Aber wie funktioniert das mit Copyright weil mein Cover kommt schon nah dran und geht dafür nur 2 Minuten statt 7

@LukTheCoder Lad dein Video hoch und schau, ob das RUclips Content ID System anschlägt und vorschlägt. Meistens kann man ein Video im Falle einer Identifikation nicht mehr monetarisieren. Zu einem Strike kommt es heutzutage eher selten.

Vielen Dank für die lieben Worte - und freut mich, dass dir das Video weitergeholfen hat! :) Zu deiner Frage: Die Funktion lässt sich rechts neben dem Metronom-Button (oben rechts in Ableton, in etwa da, wo 4/4 bzw. die Taktangabe steht) einstellen bzw. anpassen. Da kannst du zum Beispiel "4 Bars (4 Takte)" einstellen. Das bedeutet, dass der Loop immer erst zum Ende der nächsten vier Takte beendet und die nächsten in Anlehnung an den Beginn dieses 4er Blocks gestartet werden. Es ist schwer das schriftlich zu erklären, aber experimentier mal damit rum. Solltest du dann noch fragen haben, meld dich mal per Mail (siehe Kanalinfo) oder über Instagram bei mir. Dann vereinbaren wir einen Termin für einen Videocall. Das Angebot steht im Übrigen sowieso immer! :) Komm gut in die neue Woche!

@@KnownAsTheInconspicuous Hi, cool ,dass du so schnell antwortest. Hab gestern mal versucht, was langsames zu loopen mit drums, Bass und synth. Drums hat wunderbar geklappt, sogar ein overdub, Bass lief dann auch gut und passte vom Timing aber bei den Synth war der Loop auf einmal ganz wild: Obwohl alles gleich gemacht, fing der Loop, paar Takte zu spät an und das letzte Stück fehlte irgendwie und oben stand dann, bei der "Taktpizza" 21+ obwohl die beiden anderen auf 8 bzw 16 hatte. Keine Ahnung, was mit dem letzten Loop anders war. Aber sonst macht schon Laune, wenn´s einmal läuft. Ich probier mich da nomma ein bißchen durch. Hab ein schönes Wochenende

Hi, I'm going to record a video on how I record and export the audio soon. The merging with the video is done in Vegas Pro, a software to edit und cut videos. I synchronize the video file there with the exported mp3 audio from Ableton. Hope this helps :)

Hi, the most steps should work. But the MK3's are way smarter so the shift + pad 8 step probably isn't needed. The interface isn't needed but it will drastically improve the feeling because it reduces the time from pressing a key to hearing the sound (reason: an audio interface is much quicker than typical pc soundcards). @LukTheCoder Stimmt, das ist mir dann später auch aufgefallen. Das merkt man manchmal leider etwas zu spät mit ein wenig Abstand zur Video- und Audioaufnahme 🫣 Serum benutze ich nicht. Der Bass stammt aus dem mitgelieferten Analog Lab IV
