Here's my last minute entry to the riff/solo #bogrencontest , I hope I've brought the unique energy and catchiness to impress the guys at #bogrendigital and the Trivium boys! I'd love to get the chance to win a new guitar, that old axe of mine has a warped neck and it's quite beaten up from the pawn shop I got it from.

What a fun song to play, it must be the 3/4 time signature that makes it groove and flow so well. It's punchy, relatable and one of my favorites from their latest album! Since "Scream Aim Fire" we've been presented with so much crap that it was hard to believe how good "Venom" is and how well it played the role of "The Poison 2", the banger we have been waiting for so long. Trivium - Pull Me From The Void (Solo Cover)

Quite the disappointing album... This is the only song that hit home for me. The solo is rather generic but very fun to play and since i haven't played any intricate stuff for some time it will do for some good practice. Cheers! Song is written on a 7 string guitar tuned a half step down. Using a pitch shifter i've detunned it for another semitone so i can play it on my D-standard 6-stringer!
