One of the finest turnouts for one of Winthrop's own. Cyril was certainly loved and made his mark here in the USA. Friends & relatives came over from his beloved Ireland and this video is for those who couldn't make the trip, but can still feel they were part of the event.

Richie Hawkes made it to this party and he was the center of attraction, as you would have expected. Everyone one got to spend some Quality time with him and we all were the better for it.Many new faces and the usual "suspects" . To sum it up. It was a great success, fun, seeing old friends, and the day flew fast., but we really were there till almost 4PM. You're all welcome to come and join in...

Water main break on route 145 in Winthrop, MA Jan.18, 2009 This was the day after the break and the damage was so bad it's gong to take a lot of manpower & construction outfits to get this fixed. One of our friends & her daughter drove right into the sinkhole, but fortunately both were not injured.
