Hi, my name is Teddrick Palmer I studied audio engineering at Full Sail university then started my career in Atlanta Ga, at Silent Sound Studios. I still work at what's now Super Sound Studio where I'm a staff recording and mixing engineer. I've engineered for artists like Polo G, Jacquees, Big Krit, Gunna, and many more. I can work remotely but also have access to using one of the best studios in Atlanta with an abundance of analog gear. I work fast and I'm easy to communicate with. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your next project and how we can bring it to life.

I've been on pro tools for 5 years and I had no fkn idea about the separation feature. what a game changer. great video bro. checked out your other vids too, is the Apollo really worth it fam like what's the biggest difference you've noticed?
Thank you bro I'm glad I could help! For me the Apollo x4 has been a game changer having the second independent headphone jack for artist is amazing, 4 mic inputs, 4 line out is usually all I need for my sessions and I travel a lot. You also get 4 dip chips I never needed more processing than that personally it's a game changer

I got the first generation Apollo Twin in 2014 and then in 2020 got the Twin X, six years total of working with the Twin. Almost two months ago, a friend of mine told me about RME. After a bit of research, I ditched my Twin X and got the RME UCX II. I can tell you from experience that the RME UCX II is leaps and bounds better than the Apollo Twin. 1. The clocking is better. 2. The preamps are cleaner and better. I get 72 dB of clean preamp gain opposed to the 65 dB of gain that's colored from the Apollo Twin 3. Better converters which means better conversion. Converters on the Apollo Twin are sub-par. 4. The soundscape is clearer and wider. I hear things in my mixes that I didn't hear with the Apollo Twin. 5. More inputs and outputs. RME UXC II: 20-in/20-out. Apollo Twin X: 10-in/6-out. 6. You can't bypass the preamps on the Apollo Twin X when using an external mic preamp. The signal still passes through the Apollo Twin preamps, which still add a little bit of color to the sound/signal coming from the external preamp. I found this out about six months ago. This means I wasn't getting the full advantage of my Neve Shelford Channel. After switching to the UCX II, problem solved. With plugins from Plugin Alliance and now some from UAD Spark (13 native plugins), the ones I was using anyway before I sold the Twin, I don't need the Twin anymore to run those plugins. Plus I can add a UAD Satellite to run more UAD Plugins if I wanted to. The only thing the Twin X has over the RME UXC II is the ability to track with Unison Preamps, which really doesn't matter if you track with hardware gear. For the price point, I get more bang for my buck with the RME UCX II.
Would you say I could get away with a twin x duo in terms f DSP and plugins, just for my voice and or another voice as far as EQ and all that I don’t do music so just talking head videos
You'll be ok if that's all you're going to do...but it also depends on the plugin itself.
Dripp I just gave you that like.I just posted my HONEST review of the Apollo X4 on my channel, if anyone is interested, they should definitely watch!
Nothing like unboxing an x4!
Best feeling ever!
Just got mine a couple of days ago. I noticed that my box does not have "apollo X4" Nor does it say"Authentic Sound of Analog" other than that everything is the same. I ABSOLUTELY love mine so far. glad I waited till the X4 came out. Also, Man this is some WEIRD ISHH, I literally paused Bozz Scaggs - Lowdown on my stereo to watch your video, sounds a lot like the track you have in the background. Nice video!!!! I will be doing one soon as well.
Thanks, bro and that's awesome man I'm glad you like it too. I'm so glad they made this version. I will be looking out for your video as well and thank you for the support!
Good Sh!T! appreciate you. Keep them coming.
Thank you bro!
Im looking to enroll in their video production program. Im from jersey, me and my boi are thinking of moving there together. Do you know if there is a way to incorporate the rent into what ever loans I need? Im still gonna be working when I move there and Im gonna manage my money just as if I had to pay the rent out of pocket it's just i rather have the rent all paid so I can focus on school and not have that on my shoulders when trying to balance school, work and shoots. Then when I finish I should have all the money in place to pay back the loan in full. Especially with a school schedule that changes monthly I feel I may not get the hours im used to working ( usually 60 hour work weeks what im working now) and thus im afraid I wont be able to make rent.
Wassup bro yes you can definitely get your rent incorporated with your loans I tried doing that unfortunately if you don't have an amazing credit score you'll need a co signer who does. Yes manage your money now come up with a plan of how you'll pay for things during school. The school schedule does change monthly so just get a job that understand that a lot of jobs understand how Full Sail classes are in Orlando I also recommend getting a work study job on campus so you can work around your classes you just have to grind they're students working, taking classes, freelancing, and doing a internship all at the sometime you'll be surprised how much people do at Full Sail but anything is possible I was thinking the same way before I went out there and when I got there I was fine just talk to your family make a plan and I promise everything will work out!
Sweet man I'm coming to full sail in January
awesome what program you doing?
boy where the next video the people need it!
definitely going to record one this week bro
Hi my name is Christopher and im in high school. I was wondering how you mirrored your screen to the tv perfectly. I tried to do it and it didn’t come out right.
Hey Chris I used a HDMI chord from my labtop to my computer. And adjust screen size in settings under display on a Mac computer

I'm considering switching from online to campus. How hard is it to find roommates? That would be the only way I could afford to go on campus.
It's not that hard Full Sail housing department will help you or if you go to the Quad like me they'll already have roommates for you and everybody is on their own lease so if your roommate comes short on the rent that doesn't affect you.
Teddrick Palmer That seems cool. If I would be on my own lease at the Quad, then how much is the price of rent there? You explained that there are things included in the rent price.
Your rent is $630 I believe now it has gone up a bit since I moved here and it includes electricity, water, trash, and internet
Pro tip: do not have roommates lol
How much were you paying to go to school there?
Wassup man it depends on how you want to pay for it. I got scholarships and loans to pay for most of school and paid living expenses out of pocket. I would just talk to a school rep and explain your situation they'll help you.
I really wanna go to the campus, but I'm too far. So I'm gonna bring Full Sail to me :) i'm going to do online. I heard there is a launch box they send you and we get the same support campus does correct?
Yes, I did the first 5 months online you get the same support. What degree program are you taking?
I'm taking Computer Animation. I'm currently using the free 3 year Maya animation software. Check out my channel to see some animations I've made. I started using that software so I can get used to it before I start classes. I graduate in June 2nd. I plan to start on October.
I have a question, when you do online is it live or their videos and have a deadline time? You able to take 1-2 hour breaks? How does it work?
There are live videos and pre-recorded videos you can view at any time. Even if the videos are live they will still be up to view in case you missed it. You can take breaks the videos won't be that long you can pause if you need a break just not on the live ones
that's awesome I will check it out looking forward to seeing your stuff you'll learn so much at Full Sail the animation students here are dope
Im thinking about going when i graduate high school (2021) and i had a question, how long are the semesters? And can you tell me what its like there, like do you get pressured by teachers or stuff like that.
Wassup man It depends on what program you want to do. I'm in recording Arts and I have 5 semesters there 4 months each. I love it here you can make anything happen if you work hard. It's inspiring being in a creative environment with students and teachers in the industry. I wouldn't say you get pressured by teachers if anything they'll encourage you to do your best because they want you to succeed and they want you to have a great portfolio/demo reel to show employers when you graduate.
The Real Teddrick I want a Bachelor's In game development, how long would that take? Do u know? Thank you for replying 😀
No problem bro yours is 5 semester you can either do the fast way in 20 months which I'm doing it takes 2 years or you can take one class a month and it takes like 3 years and a half I think. It depends on how much you can handle a lot of students are doing the long way so they can work and they're not as stressed out because of the Full Sail accelerated program is crazy and definitely have to good at balancing time but it's possible
The Real Teddrick so do you recommend the long way? Because i actually am not sure yet.
I would if you can afford to live in Orlando for 3 1/2 years you also gotta think about having money after school to move to the location you want to work in. I only had enough for 2 years and I wanted to also get in and out
how is it at full sail man?
It'a great one of the best decisions I ever made of. Are you thinking about going?
The Real Teddrick yeah man I'm going for game design in July on the 30th of 2018 I'll be known as kendral there.
That's awesome Kendral I'm taking a sound design for games right now in RA it's really cool we already did sounds for 4 games in 2 months. You'll love it at Full Sail you can make anything happen there they really mean that and if you work hard you can. My last month is actually July 2018 I might still be on campus let me know whenever you come in town, we can meet up.
The Real Teddrick okay man I'll meet up with you once I come in July see ya then.
Cool see you then
Great video bro, im actually going to the full sail tour on sunday and im looking forward to going to the school ! 🔥🔥
Cool your going to love it I'm graduating in 5 months but hit me if come here we can link up if you have any questions
