Turning Expander {Hyrax Appliance}

When looking at the roof of the mouth, there are two arrows on the expander. In between these two arrows, there is a small hole. Place the key inside the small hole. Spacers are small rubber bands that we gently floss between your teeth to create a slight space. This space is crucial so the bands can fit easily and comfortably during your banding appointment .

How long do you need to wear a lower expander when you do 3 turns per week
Once you stop doing the turns, you need to wear it for a year after to keep your mouth in shape

@@BellyHellyJelly update: I got the quad off like 2 years ago and my braces in December. It hurts like a bitch the first weeks and then it's fine. You're gonna have a lisp for like a day. Oh yeah and food will get caught in it.
