Note that this is ‘self-drive’ territory. Kruger, especially in the south end of the park, offers excellent options for this. You can stay at Skukuza or Olyphants, or outside the gate in Malalane. To get away from people, go north to Pafuri; the landscape is different (mopane, vs savannah), but fantastic.

I LOVED the Limeliters. I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with Lou Gottlieb at a concert intermission in Cleveland Ohio so many years ago. I'll never forget those moments. I also met Glen Yarborough several times in Taylor Texas at a mutual friends studio where they were recording new tunes several times. Nice guy. I acted like a kid in a candy store around him. God I miss those guys and their unique concerts. It is so sad to see Alex Hassilev growing so old. I'll always think of him in his younger days. Keep on Alex we love you.

@1:13 is that the moon in the upper-right corner? The moon was visible when I saw it in 2023.

I saw the 2023 staging at Farnsworth Park (went back a second time and would've kept returning had the show continued). This is the only staging of Hair I've seen, but your statement about it being the best version doesn't seem far-fetched. Based on the footage I've seen of other versions, I prefer this setting (a real park with psychedelic yurts and "god's eyes") to the gritty scaffolding. The performances, the choreography, the music, the live sound mixing, the costumes, the lighting, the real moon.... I really got into it and felt a strong connection to that time.
