Stihl fs36 clutch and clutch drum removal
I changed 2 contacts. And I'm not getting current in my call packs. Could it be my fly wheel bad? Yes, or no I need some help here. I have a still five eleven bush shubha
Just changed mine.Put a large screwdriver behind and pop out. Then use a small C clamp to push back together.
Thanks for this, other videos just tore the grommets.
That machine doesn’t have a speck of dirt it’s brand new.why are you doing that carb?
Thank you sir.. replaced mine
Thank you .. replacement mine after watching this
Thank You, Your's looks New so I can not imagine how hard mine is going to be.
Hi, does the FS 38 spring and geometry fit the fs 36? they seem close. Very hard to get a started parts for 36 but tons cheap for 38 around.
cheers
Thanks!!
It was exactly what I needed to know, thanks!
You have anything on the internals? My blades won’t engage and seem to just die after pulling the trigger.
cracking stuff gromit
Great job. I learned Thanks 👍
Great video, I’ve been looking for this! 👍
Lingua itsliana
Thanks, I was stuck and needed this bit of info
Brill. Ta very much! 👍🙂
You may have struggled but it does look like you found the easiest method…,well done! 👍🙂
I thought you were doing Witch craft until I realized there’s a hole below the spark plug. 😅 Thanks
Thank you very much was worried we would shatter it since the cover was stuck shut 👍
All the other videos showed guys prying out the rubber grommets and ruining them. I like your method, gonna give it a try, thanks!!
Don't struggle like that with the handle and fuel cable. No need to remove the throttle mechanisms!Go straight to the cable on the carb.Unclip the throttle cable to carb you will be able to pull it out through the front.
fs36 seems much harder to work than other models
how do get bell housing off
theres a torq screw down the tube of the bell houseing
It was exactly what I needed to know, thanks! ...I won't say easy peasy just yet :-)
I have a fs36 and I can't seem to get the spring on the Handle in properly;-; please help
Looks miserable but thanks and now I’m going to try
Ну и что ты показал?
hi, im not sure i understand your comment, sorry.
Useful video. I agree, a badly scored piston is probably not worth the trouble and cost to fix, but your video might help me to get mine going again. Have the FS44 with a broken starter cord, which has been in the shed for a couple of years and needed a carb service before it went into retirement. It looks similar to the FS36. Having to take off the clutch to change the rope is a bit of a pain, but it does cut well for a small strimmer when running well. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make a video.
Hi I wonder if you could show /tell me how the throttle cable routes through the trimmer bod y to the carb. on s Stihl fs 40. I have the "old" styrene, identical to the FS36 you have worked on in your videos. Many thanks.
What size spark plug do you use?
Whats the reason behind positioning the piston to the top of the exhaust stroke, and then stuffing rope into the spark plug hole? Do you need to do that before removing the clutch? Regards, Mark Affleck
hi, its just so the piston compresses the rope and effectively seizes the engine, this will enable you to remove the clutch without the engine turning over, good luck.
Do you have a part number for the actual trimmer head? (that the whipper line actually comes out of)
Thanks 👍👍👍
helped alot thx for the video !
Thank you for your help!Fritz Germany
My pleasure!
Thank you for your help!
? What exactly are you doing? removing the carb? For what reason?
Because it’s dirty lol
Are the two blades identical.
In my one yes ( I have also hs45 600mm ) I’ve seen hs45 with 2 Diffrent blades 🤔 maybe 450mm
Thank you for these videos!
No worries!
You people are invaluable in this world thanks!
About to change on Fs80r. Thanks mate!
No problem 👍
How did you remove the shaft?
you just pull it out
Hi, I'm trying to replace the pull cord on one of these at the moment. Do I need to take the boom arm and clutch drum off to get to the pull cord recoil assembly or is there another way? Thanks for this video.
hi, im sure you do, i have another fs36 on the way so ill try and get a video posted next weekend. cheers
@@imnotachainsawguy1853 I see you got the video up in record time (Sarcasm)
Any chance you could do a vid on replacing the spring in the pull start please?
hi james, thanks for commenting, i have another fs36 on the way so ill try and get a video posted next weekend. cheers
