I’ll tell you what happened, people like you who go in a record the houses and events ruin the experiences, they need to ban recording inside of houses and only let you record outside!

For some reason, this year specifically. HHN feels like you are walking through a horror museum more than a haunted house. I use to find myself too scared to go into the houses but now I'm more interested in the art and design...and these just feel like look at this scene....reset....look at this scene...reset....after the first 2 or 3 "scares" you get numb to it quickly. There is a certain lack of creativity and mood. Maybe it's too many people idk

I agree with everything said at the end, I went opening weekend so extremely extremely hot, but we had a fun expecting yes that less talent was in due to heat, I actually worked 1 season of horror nights & yes it was very brutal working in extremely hot weather & we had to wear the dark black robes, this yr they have ts & shorts. No regrets working it & understandable for it to have an absences of talent during opening weekend because of the heat. My respects to all working the horror nights and all guests visiting the event during the extremely hot heatwave.

It was terrible! Hardly any scare actors or props. Pop music playing in the escalators. Didn’t let general admin into purge show cause all the front of line people came in. Never will I go again unless I hear they made actual changes.

It turned more to a performance show and not scary at all.

Pre Covid HHN was amazing! Now they just throw stuff together last minute with zero creativity

Many many things happened, tik tok popularity made people go to these just to say they went. Not even horror fans or anything. It’s seen as something high school students get together to go to now. Back then you hardly saw that crowd . But these are just little small minuscule things that have made this worse. Horror nights themselves have made their own bed, it started also with their horrible maze choices . Like The Weeknd maze, I don’t hate it but it tries to market to the young crowd of teens are young 20 year olds that horror nights knows is the new demographic. They pushed all the horror fans away

I miss the $5, 16oz Sam Adams they used to sell at DCA. Still get them off-season on DCL no tax - tip included.

That area by the waterfall is so good. Disney did not need to go that hard, and they did. The rocky peaks. The sound. The water/kinetic movement. The American National Park vibe. It's one of the special places in that park where you can park it with a cold beer and be like, this is a good day.

Another place I never got to check out when I was in Cali. I guess I need to get my butt back out there sometime lol. I appreciate you sharing a slice of your world!
