Raw plus works best with 16 images, but AEB shoots a maximum of 9. Raw plus is somewhat tolerant of movement so two sets can be OK with a static scene like an interior with no people. If you have movement one set of 9 may be a better option.

Clay, can you go into more detail why you shoot the second set of images ( i know the the windows..) but how do you combined all 14 images to create a very dynamic image. I suspect you took the first set and stacked in KD Raw Plus to create 1 image, then took the second stack and did the same, then in LR did a HDR merge??? just guessing... thx

Clay, I tried this yesterday and was pleased with the results. I did try this morning to take my original 9, make virtual copies and got good results as well.

Rick Kremer has reported that stitching failed when he attempted it. We’re trying to track it down, but for now, I recommend renaming KDRaw-R0123456.dng to something like R0123456-test.dng.
