Not the biggest fan of this song but it works really well with this film my heart breaks every time I see this film because of Mike suffering from Narcolepsy and how he doesn’t get Scott in the end you really feel for his character and that River left us not too long after the film’s release by a couple of years and the last clip of this video as he looks back at Keanu is my fav shot of him in any of the films that I have seen him in RIP gone but never forgotten

I still have to see this movie. Never got to see it. Sounds crazy I haven't, I know. I remember in the 90s when they announced he died outside of a club. It was beyond sad. It really resonated with me. Very sad 😔

River was a beast of an actor. Sadly, he died to young, he was only 23. If today he was alive, he would probably be Leonardo DiCaprio or Charlie Chaplin from the modern times. RIP River, 1970-1993.

There are many layers of "favorites" in this video. Firstly, River Phoenix, the most perfect guy who ever lived, perhaps too perfect to live in this world; secondly, Keanu Reeves, my favorite still alive, and last but not least, Gotye - how I love his songs, how I love him! I didn't just save this video as a favorite, I saved it for life. And what a movie My Own Private Idaho was!!! Thank you for sharing!
