Excellent video sir! Quick question though. Seems like this amp is not power hungry at all, which is great. It seems like this Audison only requires a max of around 42 amps if I remember right. My JL Audio 5 channel amp requires an 80 amp inline fuse and it’s 100 less watts than this Audison. Seems amazing how less taxing it is on the vehicle’s electrical system

Anyone getting crosstalk between woofer and tweeter channels? It’s set up bandpass 6.5 and high pass for teeeters. Correctly hooked up. I played under 100hz sweep and the tweeters were making noise moving in and out. I’ll try to get it swapped by the distributor.

You could buy polypropylene in stick or what ever small form and granulate them, and then mix them with acetone. Acetone dilute polyproylene. Now you have polypropylene goo, you can sculpt and "weld" it onto ready PP parts.

So how large does the cavity need to be to make the woofer effective? Will they sound good in a sealed enclosure with only a half inch deep x diameter of the speaker?

I have 2 3-way component speakers (Audison APK 163) for the front and back. I also have a Audison APBX 10 AS2 Prima Subwoofer. What is the best amplifier for this set-up of 12 total speakers and a subwoofer?

these audisons are very musical amplifiers just had the sr4.500 installed last night paired with the morel tempo ultra 602 mk2 and morel matching integra coax rear , alpine s60 mono amp with sundown e-10 v.3 d4 10 inch sub sealed box !!! very happy sq, sq, sq!!

I really enjoy this amp. I have it connected to 2 Pioneer Z 6.5 components and 2 coaxial as well as a JL Audio 12 inch microsub. I am swapping them out this Thursday from my old 2020 Optima SE to a 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid. It should sound even better in a SUV!

Thanks mate for taking time to make a video. This is by far the best Addison amp reviewed ever. I just upgraded to a Focal 3 ways Flac and Flac 2 ways in the rear. I run these set up with a Morel 5.950 amp but it can’t support the Focal speakers. Now I got 3 Amps that I’m looking at. 1. JL Audio VX1000/5i. 2. Addison Voce 5.1k 5-channels 3. Misconi Pro 5/30 5-channels.

I drove from Tasmania to Adelaide to have my system installed by AV-DC. Callum and his team provided a brilliant installation of the Zapco DSP/amp and built a custom enclosure for the Hybrid Audio Technology sub. Callum tuned the system competently and I drove away a very happy customer. I still enjoy every day that I get into the car and hear the system. AV-DCs work is impeccable but at the same time it is affordable for the normal client. I could not recommend them more highly.

What a unit. I have one of these, plus 4 Focal 165S & 165C's, x2 Focal tweeters, plus a JL 500W Monoblock mono sub amp, JL 10" ducted port sub driver, and it's all so clear, detailed and punchy. Oh, and *LOUD* , if need be. 2011 Honda Accord EX. Bluetooth AptX-HD for my OnePlus 8 Pro phone, with Dolby Atmos Movie effect. GrooveSalad, SomaFM, 196 - 320 kbps streams...Just absolutely thumps. I don't find the DSP / AMP to be "cold", at all. (of course, I do some EQ tweaking).

Great video Callum, the most oddly satisfying part of the video is when the shape comes alive when you trim the excess mat.
