A RELAXING FRIDAY - Hedge and Lawn Trim
This was a small private job I had last weekend, the hedge hadn't been properly done in years and the lawn really needs a bit more TLC. Hopefully I can bring a new lease of life into the whole garden. Enjoy this quick video, and let me know any feedback you have! Thanks.

Topping a stubby Poplar covered in Caterpillars

Once again, I know topping trees is not a good pruning technique. This customer wants a straight line around his garden, meaning the trees needed to be topped to the height of the hedges. I hope you enjoy, and please like and subscribe so I know I'm doing something right.... I'd appreciate any feedback on these videos, I've tried a few different types of editing (I am no expert). Let me know in...
Saving Caterpillars in an Ivy Cladded Sycamore

I know, I know.... This is one of the worst ways to prune a tree. However, this customer wants a perfectly straight line along the back of their garden, unfortunately this means poor pruning practices were used. Sycamore are fairly resilient trees, I'm not justifying the cuts but I'm sure they will recover from this fine. A quick caterpillar rescue operation made for an interesting change of task.
Shock loading a boom will end up in weld failure and extension section warpage, they’re meant to take gradual load not shock loading. Needs a full LOLER test after this . Your insurance would run a mile after seeing this as well as HSE,
That's an awful lot of shock load on that boom. It's not mine so whatever but I will never understand why people abuse expensive equipment that earns them a living.
Why you don’t by used cranes/kbooms from tree guys….
You make a good point 😅😂
Quanti ridicoli
Um, the reason you're boom arm on the craane is bent, well just watch, you can see the moment it happens. also Your working under hanging weight. Darwin works in mysterious ways. be safe out there guys, death isn't the worst thing that can happen!
I agree. I am not this operator, nor is this how I would do things. I'm a contract climber with a camera, luckily ended well and the crane and operator are still in shape.
great job. 🤨
😉 *Promo sm*
Why didnt he just cut from behind it?
I don't understand your question.
I'm not sure what you mean here either. The directional face cut helps land the tree accurately and safely, hopefully that answers the question.😊
Good job Trees-R-Us Oregon
