Hello and thanks for your comment.😁 I would take your head circumference and make a few more stitches when you increase. If you have for example a headsize of 55 cm I would make about 57 or 58 stitches . This should work ...hopefully 😅 It's the way I do it.

Well I don't really know why I started to double the yarn...🤔 I guess it wasn't thick enough. But it worked in a good way so I always do it like that. It is not looking weird 😉 But you can also use a thicker yarn it should work too.

​@@lindaongsan3034That really depends on the headsize...This hat fits my head...I have a size about 54cm so I increase till 54/55 stitches. Probably 11/12 normal rounds would be enough for a kid but it really depends on the kid 😅

Uh thanks for your comment ! I guess I wrote the wrong number. It's every 10th stitch but also depends on the headsize you want - increase a little more for a bigger head and less for a smaler one 😉
