Up Close: My 1977 ACA Allertor 125, First Test in 35 years - SCSM'24

Special thanks to Luke and Daniel for allowing me to bring my allertor and let alone wire it. This siren came from Lovettsville, VA and was a Washington DC siren. For not being sounded for over 35 years, it sure sounds amazing. My microphone was not a fan. Lol. Was maybe 7 feet away? © Copyright Sweet Tea Sirens 2024. Right before what I can say is the greatest thing I’ve ever witnessed, the great eclipse, I ventured to this little town. I originally went to the southern 16V but some gracious folks told me it hadn’t worked in a few tests. I then hightailed it to the other unit and got this decent video. Was real loud, even vibrated the ground. Thanks for watching. Location : 614 High St, Marble Hill, MO Sire...

My Condolences to those who lost property, family and friends. After keeping an eye on the forecasts and models for the better half of the week, I knew there was a chance for a tornado here or there, but nothing could've predicted what occurred. About an hour before this I was eyeing this storm on radar while it was over Dyersburg and made the last chance decision to do some storm photography. ...

This is a Very Rare version of the Sirex!
That reminds me of a tsunami siren
I’ve never heard a 16/16 it’s very high pitched
STH-10 + an extra set of cones = 3t22
If that was in cedar falls then HOW DARE YOU IVE ONOY HEARD IT ONCE NOW THERE IS ONLY ONE MORE ALLERTOR IN CEDAR FALLS
Well only if your dylan
That TBolt Lookin Fresh As Fuck! Gotta Love The Black Mesh!
Milan, Tennessee every Saturday at noon. (That’s where I live)
This siren went off when I wasn’t even in the USA.
Is codded thunderbolt!!!
Wtf?
Aca cyclene
sounds like that dark gray mobil directo in wisconsin
When the siren comes to the camera, it kind of sounds like a thunderbolt
Aca p15 with a aca mobil directo horn lol
Sounds like aca p15 lol
Bro this is so funny I was looking for a only 16 port sentry 10v1t I got distracted went to your channel and find this
Arm
This is recorded on my birthday 😊
It spins 10x faster and sounds a t-bolt Wild
Thunderbolt Gaming‼️
I have so many questions but this is awesome.
That green on the chopper cap, what would the whole siren look like
it sounds like the siren in Cincinnati Ohio
THE Blower cover is ex cincinnati ohio, i sold him a parts thunderbolt from cincinnati. orig was a 5m unit,
Bsp stole t135/p50's projector to make a trash can, paint bucket and other buckets in tsm joke
Holy shit, no way! That is indeed the 1003 from Mt Ayr, IA! Those rust marks on the horn give it away.
Yep it is! We also have the B series from Milltown, WI.
Who own the 1003 in the back?
Me
Just kidding
💀💀
what 1003
The one in the back is mine and it a 1000
What was the end what the fuck haha
Do you know who actually brought the Allertor to the meet?
@@TrainsAndSirens1 I did. It’s mine
Tá fraquinho 😂
Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm 🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
also, this is actually 4M. you could hear the 4M blower in the beginning at the test. the 1000T’s blower is unknown. I’m beginning to think the 1000T’s using a 4M, 5M or 6M blower.
The one in the back is a single phase C Series
why aren’t they testing the 4/5 1000T?
Starting with DTMF
Is that what I think it is behind it?
what do you think it is
@@Gvacsi think he means the big huge yellow thunderbolt behind it
I believe that is the silverstreet thunderbolt.
@@Huh-l9o no that's a C series 1000T.
@@Gvacs it has the 1003 horn
This thing was so loud...
On god
Incredible video!!
Either lightning or a loose battery connection
Low battery?
@@cooldomino1800 Battery wire on my setup got cut. My batteries are outside the cabinet because they are too big so i have wire ran from the cabinet to the batteries
@@cooldomino1800hello:)
I wonder if anyone has the thunderbolt that they used at the Air Force Academy
This was the one we thought to be at the airforce base but it came from Walnut Ridge Arkansas
@@SouthCarolinaSirensNice! Speaking of AR, I wish someone could acquire one of the inactive Kockum Sonics Delta 4 sirens from Independence County. Would be epic af if they could get one and bring it to SirenCon as it would be cool if there was a Swiss siren there, especially one that runs on its original controls
I was a kid there at the time at Pine Valley Elementary. I remember this type of siren near the school.
Never thought this would exist!
Amazing!!
Whar?
Sounds a bit shy on RPM, but anything beats 35 years off being dead!
Probably the phase converter not giving enough juice.
Yeah this was a 10 HP siren on a 15 HP converter, the slip between the main motor and the mains contributed to an even greater slip between the allertor and the rotary motor.
Pretty cool
W
this is AWESOME
That’s a 10V2T
Speed i am speed
Wow, 16/16 port 10v1T! The first of it's kind to be recorded?
wh..... Me and a friend were talking about a 16/16 port Sentry possibly existing the other day... What the truck.
im scared because I literally predicted the future
