I have a student that comes to class late and leaves early. He doesn't ask for help unless it's to tell him what the correct answers are. Every time he's wrong, he really knew the correct answer all along, he just forgot when he was writing his work down. His idea of working with other students is letting them tell him the answers. He already failed my class once and this is his second time trying to con his way into a passing grade. Yes, students learn at their own pace. And I have vast respect for those students that honestly try, whether they succeed or not. But this sentiment? The whole learn at different speeds thing? Nine times out of ten that's coming from the student who can't take responsibility for himself. Oh it's true, sure, but the student that tries to use it as a defense is probably just lazy.
True, but life ain’t fair and teacher see 1000s of kids and do the same shit again again they are human. You need to study on your own, behind the scenes and surpass all expectations, especially your own
