I Remember Living in Albert City Iowa in October 17th 2015
Good old CC. They ran so well if they were taken care of. Case were some of the very best running tractors of all!
Curious why all the dyno videos but no results posted
Great looking Stang
did it have anything else done to it?? What size turbo was it??
I love seeing tractors in their work clothes! And working too! Doesn"t get any better than that!
good combine 600
I'm pretty sure that I'm the biggest J I Case fan in the Universe, but for some reason I never liked the front end design of those tractors. To me it's kind of like they had finished building the tractor and then someone looked at it and said, Oh Shit !!! We forgot the front wheels . What the hell are we gonna do ? Then a low end factory worker said, here just weld this on the grill, then bolt the wheels to it and I will bend this scrap steel rod around the hood, hook it up and THERE ALL FIXED !!! Thanks for the video though I love old Case equipment and you're doing a good job plowing.
Lol my favorite part about these older case tractors is the front end wheels lol they look so different than everything else out there and with the rad cap and smooth angles it makes them look kinda racey to me. Even though my dc 3 is the slowest tractor I own lol
@@AJ-nr8cg well I'm glad you like them and if owning one gives you peace and happiness then that's great . hope everything goes well for you .
@leslie holman lol they've got a real smooth clutch in them as well.
Man that thing runs beautiful! Looks great too.
Hey bro- Wanted to get an update on how your 2v GT is doing? It’s now 2019 and was wondering do you still have it and even if you don’t how long did the car last with the turbo etc. ? Thanks
Stock motor??
Asks him why he is backing up, is standing 5 ft further back than him... Haha check out my 01 gt. Sub to my page. I want to get 100 sub so I can do live feeds working on mustangs, and trans am's there are also a lot of camaro's 4th and 5th gens. Help me out and ill be able to do a lot more cars and live coffee and cars and some Mexico racing live. Thanks guys.
I am just wondering if I might be able to add your serial number to the Case SC Center Exhaust registry I am working on creating... Any help would be appreciated!
factory DC's have 37 hp, would bin nice if they said how much hp it had
What did you do for your fuel system upgrades?
This is a 1940 model as is evidenced by base mount mag and inline generator, as well as 6 bolt rear wheels. Case made both CH and CC4 as well as DH and DC4 with 6 bolt wheels. It did not have anything to do with sliding axles. If the dyno operator did not pull the engine down further, it is likely because the power was already dropping off.
i think this is a 1950 DC-4
Very nice looking tractor!
Very nice center exhaust SC project! I didn't get a good look at the block, but looks like the "long skirt" hood is in pretty nice shape! Check out my Centerline SC at my channel! Nice work! Do you by chance have the serial number (I try to keep a record of the center exhaust SC's still around).
That is a straight model "D" being that it is an early one. Also the guys running the dyno should have put more of a load on the tractor. If you listen it doesnt even pull the engine speed down. I have a DC that has the bigger 4 inch pistons in it and it dynos at about 40 hp.
Taylor Coulter I did some research on the DC case with the Factory 4 inch bigger piston, and according to my tractor supply yearbook of 1961 it says that the DC would gain an additional eight horsepower, so if you put those pistons in a any DC CASE it should jump up to 45 hp, and the comp would go from 5.9:1 to 6.9:1
I just enjoyed looking at this tractor and really like going to tractor shows and pulls. I like to collect information, books and just about anything including pictures of tractors. I would really like a picture of your tractor if that would be possible.
Boy that sure do bring back some memories...
You need a better tune, that's ridiculous.
10 psi on a stock block is pushing a 2v,but good fuel/tune anything is possible,i have seen many 2vs pop under much less boost,
I remember seeing that.
whats done to engine? how much boost have u run max? single turbo or twin?
the SRT8 Pulled WAY harder coming outta the hole, but here's the thing...Drag Racing & Street Racing back 20, 30, 40 years ago...THAT was something...NOW...You roll up next to a Subaru WRX STi....Most cars aren't gonna beat that...that's Turbo+AWD...one that might; the Lamborghini Diablo which start out, as rear wheel drive, but when the rear tires start to spin, the front wheel drive engages to 'picks up the slack'
yep still going strong......first one
I have a 2000 GT and have been looking into this kit and i live in omaha as well. how much did you end up spending for the whole kit and necessary parts?
Still handling the boost nicely? Also you have the second kit or the first one they made?
My uncle had the same exact tractor. It had the smoke too. He died this last febuaryof cancer at age 41, 2 days after he died i plowed with it and the head cracked in 8 spotts, so tell me if the tractor wanted to be done as well. the thing is the tractor nevr skipped a beat all i say was oil spewing out the engine and it stalled. RIP Uncle Jimmer and Ally
Seriously doubt the head cracked in 6 spots from one day of plowing. The head was cracked from years of not letting it cool down properly and finally cracked to the point it showed up
Don't think Case called these DC4's in 1940, more likely is a DH. DC4's had the sliding rear wheels like the DC's (what use that was I don't know since the front axle was fixed on them).
The engine has been handling the boost well so far. Yah it feels a lot faster than stock and i haven't had any problems with the on3 kit so far.
nice gt!! I got a silver 03 gt as well, I also live in omaha, Ive been looking at these turbo kits from on3 performance, how's engine handling the boost? anything break?
sick 2v! does it feel fast as hell compared to stock? and would you recommend the 0n3 kit
how do you like that on3 performance kit?
hitting full boost around 3000 rpm and its gotten 29 mpg on the highway driving it nice
my Dad has an F2 in his barn, last run over 12 years ago, raccoons have been in it since so no telling what shape it is in inside now. Too bad....
very nice, would like to see more pix of the S tractor pulling that combine too. Is it a 1943/44 vintage, looks just like my Dad's 1943 S.
@albrecht2005 NICE! Lemme ask you something though...Hows your MPG? Still pretty decent(If its still over 20MPG highway...then jegs can consider a kit SOLD)
Where are you hitting full boost?
2v ftw! Cant wait to order this kit
What did you use the 70mm master power turbo? Where does it hit full boost?
just the basic 70 mm
Is that just the basic turbo or did you get the upgraded 70mm one?
What turbo is on there?
No wheel chocks? How's the stang running? Thinking about a similar setup in a bit.
Awesome 2v you have there! Sounds damn mean.
Hello Case lover. I have a 1938 Case much like yours. Why do you have the carburator heat cover installed? It's supposed to be used only when trying to burn fuel oil. I like your temp gauge in the radiator cap. Ours never had one.
