I never realised how much this show changed in just one year from 1989-1990? I can watch an episode from both years and differentiate which year it’s from.
I remember this episode, What amazes me is how Martin in the next episode appear with a broken arm, i though Steve punch Martin to the stomach and below the belt. Martin and Lance were my favourite characters in the early days of Home and Away.
For all the nasty and hurtful things Morag ever said to Bobby and there was a lot. Deep down Morag did loved Bobby and I think she was crying because she missed all them years with Bobby
Dark water, My Life Line The clock of death darkens my spirit The swift sound of a wave Softens my heart Hardens my mind I am nothing but Sea Surf Air No thought No reason No broken time I am water It is my lifeline Time cannot cut it Nor can my father… My life begins in an ageing spineless shed on its last legs, owned by an ageing spineless father, who lives behind an emotional wall. He wares the scars of blood-woven love. There is passion in his eyes, whispering to break out. But he refuses to loosen up, as my generation says. He lives, breathes, an eats discipline and conformity. I’m not writing this to hurt him. It is just the way it is. But as we know a child’s memory can be fragmented.
Steven was talking to lance through the earpiece and overheard what Morag is going to do ..so he got lance to create a scene to divert the attention away
Lance was always a funny guy. I always liked him. Did he ever find out that Bobby was his cousin? I think they were cousins - but do correct me if I got that wrong.
That was always going to be a major early storyline. The man that Bobby despised most would end up being her father. In truth it was mutual hatred. The Apple didn't fall far from the tree, both Bobby and Flathead Fisher were as stubborn as each other.
From memory I think Morag changed once Alf & Donald finally stood up to her years later.. it was around the time of Dani’s court trail where she made a comeback as the judge. She made amends to summer bay community but leaking her court case which helped Dani get a reduced sentence & her disbarred as a judge. From there she become more hearted where she regretted to Alf that she wished she got to know Bobby more & that she apologies for turning Duncan away from Alf too.
Do you think Maggie Kirkpatrick could have done a Morag or was she the best 1
Never missed an episode back then
2:36 Oh Morag you flaming icon 😂
The early years was a lot more better to watch
The song at the end of the Funeral 🎉 pure class 👍🤑😜
*Alf wanted to stop the marriage so badly that he paid Bobby off to make sure Frank didn't marry Roo*
i loved alan fisher, they made a big mistake killing him off :(
Why did she see the wedding

So Donald had a child with 2 of Alf’s sisters 😂 sad that they both died. What episode(s) did the surf club first appear inside and/or outside?
1989
Why did Frank a Bobby spilt up?
I believe it's because he wanted to be with Roo
Yes he fled to the City and Roo followed him.
Even though Morag was cold and bitter Deep down she was a good hearted women.

Out of all the characters in this clip, Alf's the only one still there to this day.
Actually Roo is still on the show, just played by a different actress.
Anyone know the episode number of this scene?
104. Was issued on the 5-episode Memorable moments VHS released in 1993/4.
I miss Bobby!
Remember Dodge and Revhead?

Home and Away was so much grittier back then
They made it like DALLAS!!

Dodge was the one who lit the fire.He was such a hooligan. And I feel sorry for Steven because he lost his uncle Philip in the fire.

He wasn't that bad though, it was just the Headmaster in him that made him how he was.
I knew brax didn't killed Danny
fred moss Wrong answer. Brax is in this TV show.
fred moss Odd. It would have been good to see them as sperm, babies and toddlers.
Brax was about ohhhh 30 years later lol
Ok
nasty old woman morag embrass bobby telling everyone that donald fisher is her father is the cruel thing to do
It would have been nice for Morag and Bobby to make some kind of peace before Bobby's death
Thought they did maybe im wrong.
Morag was always a cow and devious too. Causing trouble for everyone. She even made Sam believe that Donald didn’t want him after Bobby died.
@@rebeccayeatesmakeup yes she was but years later i thought she was better,

@TheBatmanProdigy82 why was Morag no longer a judge and banned from the bench??
Bobbys search for her parents and its aftermath is my all time favourite home and away storyline
Loved Bobby. She was a real individual who didn't follow the crowd, and there aren't enough of those in soaps.
