I have a used DZ1234 come with that one on your D1634 , thanks for let me know what the plate for . But the needle guard under plate is different than D1034 DZ1234 .
I took my needleplate off to clean it and that piece on the back came off but I had no idea where it went. I couldn’t find anything on the internet about where it went until this video! Thank you! This has been so helpful for me!

Thank you very much.This video is very helpful. It's 3am in the morning and I'm sitting here almost in tears because I broke the exact same fork on the needle plate. I was Googling all night for the exact same needle plate and when you said you were having the same issue I felt sooo much better. I am going to my local sewing repair shop first thing in the morning to see if they have a replacement at a reasonable price but if not I will try ordering one from Walmart because they have one that should fit as you say in your video.

Same thing happened to me 😱I need to buy the needle plate too . Mine quit doing the thread chain then realized that part was broke . Did that affect your chain thread also ? Please help
I have same problem. Same needle plate And i searched on the internet how to replace or to buy another one as a reserve... but i did not find it my country. Now i have to repaire it some how. I find it.on aliexpress the entire plate at 30 dolars something like that. I will order it just to have one extra.. i have a brother 4234d
I have the same problem and had to use it without the stitch finger which I didn't mind cause I don't always use it.however my technician doesn't want to service my machine properly because it doesn't fit like the old plate and he prefers that one.my problem is that I keep having to repair the old one and don't want to go through that all the time

I just got this plate off eBay 24.99 model number for plate is #XB0306001

You will have to remove the stitch finger to put the plate on. Then you can put your stitch finger back on.

Remove stitch finger to put the plate on then you can put it back on after. There are other place that charge less for this plate in the US
