I personally like to use quick fix for teams that really aren't taking care of protecting me and are really uncoordinated, as strong as a uber or kritz can be they do need backup from the team to be capitalized on, while having backup with the quick fix wouldn't hurt it, lacking it also doesn't hurt it as much as uber or kritz, you are basically giving up the ability to give strong, game-winning uber or krit pushes, in exchange for buffing both individual plays and the constant pressure your team keeps on the enemy team. I also do it becaus if I know I'm dying often, I have more chance to get at least one uber, or losing it isn't as important

Based fellow Medic player AND a fellow Quick Fix enjoyer. I use it in the same contexts as you, generally. The Quick Fix is best used distributed among many many hurt players in close proximity to you, whereas the vanilla medigun and company tend to be a bit stronger on lower numbers of healtargets. I think I have a bit of bad luck when I pick it or more likely bad gamesense, I've seen all too often my uber targets die to sustained fire on my watch, hah . In any case, subscription earned!

I have 1,200 hours as medic, and the quick fix used to be my second most used medigun. The reason I don't use it much outside of second medic now is because the faster healing can be power crept by hitting your shots with the crossbow. Overheal is also a very underrated mechanic in casual, which the quick fix lacks. It's weak in the situations where medic shines the most outside of healing. Breaking stalemates and speeding up the progress of the game. As the p1pperoni said it, it's a "band aid fix" to your team taking a lot of damage. You lose out on the mechanics that make medic a powerful class, to make healing easier, which compared to the other mediguns, is underwhelming.

I love ot play medic on casual 😊 Rage hacking using crit hack on melee with swing prediction and projectile aimbot to always hit the teammate or enemy and heal or damage when I think teammate is in need of arrow. Performing tick perfect combo with crossbow Uber charge of vaccinator and melee on annoying scouts. I become ultimate game winner without Killing many players directly. Basicly I become menace to enemy team unkilable God medic that keeps everyone alive and instantly heals anyone burning with arrow a d heals full up with perfect arrow heal combo And perfectly prioritizes heal on least hp players with perfect script that uses Ai to determine best healing target each tick. Making my team win Easly not even realizing I was ever cheating. And not geting kicked beacuse medic cannot possibly cheat. And teammates ignore my rage hacking unless I start spining what is never the case cuz I never spin it is stupid. And i blatantly admit to cheating whenever ask what is still disregarded by teammates who refuse to kick me beacuse it's not me that breaks enemy fun but themselves. Beacuse they are healed by perfect medic that doesn't make mistakes.

I love using the quick fix just because it gives resistance to knockback under uber. A big middle finger to pyros.

I hate the Quick-Fix personally once a medic wanted me to push with his über, i was reluctant at first but he was insistant so we went in and my med got immediately backstabbed... Also the existence of random crits hurts the QF even more. Also it is true that a second medic using the QF is better, they'd have to avoid healing too much and pocket me so that my more important über is built faster which... They tend to not do. Also two stock über tends to be way stronger than stock+QF.

In my experience, the Quick Fix really shines in game modes where you can’t rely on a specific choke point or when the tide of battle can shift at any moment. It’s really, really good in 5CP and KOTH.

It’s my favorite medigun, it’s so much fun. I love pocketing a roamer and flying around the map

Finally someone knows the power of the Quick Fix. I'm tired of people saying it's trash because it doesn't have an invuln Uber.

This was a very Interesting video! as a medic main who fucking hates the quick fix this did open my eyes on the weapon a bit, although it still sucks on its own in my Opinion the combo potential is very potent from the very small clip you showcased. Nice guide. Really liked it, glad you didn't say something like "this is the best guide" cause every guide is different. Overall, I'd say this is one of the better guides, it's short and sweet. Also for tank dmg classes, Scout can probably perform on the same tier as Pyro can, just not many people do it. Still, really nice guide.
