I love how something that is seemingly fundamental changed, Batman's Wealth and upbringing and the entirety of Wonder Woman's past, but who they are at their core did not. Batman is not his wealth, or his gadgets, or that he is old royalty of Gothem. Batman is a true son of Gothem, with the strength, intelligence, and shear determination to protect that all but damned city so that no one has to endure what he did. Wonder Woman is not a princess raised on a paradise. Wonder Woman is a warrior who was born, meant, and chooses to be the one that stands between us and the monsters. I'm interested to see what they do with Superman. He will be coming to earth as an adult, so he is going to be a lot more Kryptonian. What Superman is, though, at his core, is hope. Sometimes, hope needs to be harsh, sometimes hope needs teeth. But any hope is better than no hope, and I doubt Superman will take long before he decides Earth is his home too.

Something I found interesting was how Darkseid allowed the heroes to retain their main traits. Despite being raised by Circe, Wonder Woman is still compassionate and soft. I wonder why [CENSORED] can't be said. That Apollo, not Zeus, delivered Diana suggests there may be a rift with the gods. Diana may slowly warp into Kratos, using the premise of Guts to do so. That poor soldier learned some things about himself, today...

Not sure if you caught it but the joker looks to be one of the the childhood friends of batman, there a kid with similar shape ears and face structure...and it the photo he has a huge smile...could be just chance but I don't imagine something like this would be
Also I was telling my buddy that I think Scott is throwing alot of love to the Frank Miller batman...from the design, world building, and atmosphere, it feels very similar to what Frank did with a little something Snyder added to it....wild love to get my hands on the Frank Miller cover for this

It's like he flipped the rules for everything and I love it
My guess is that once Absolute Batman, defeats Absolute Joker, he takes over his wealth, and ascends to a position akin to the Bruce/Batman of the Main Continuity, and with this new “power” he uses it to improve Gotham, and upgrade his Batman persona. 🤔
