AcePro2 Vs Action5Pro **Updated Settings**
Trying some different settings in less favourable conditions to compare the Insta360 AcePro2 and Dji Action5Pro. This is the raw video and audio from both cameras. Robert and I putting the new cameras through its paces to see which settings and camera records the best footage. Both cameras are on auto video settings and noise reduction is set to standard. Firstly I would like to thank Tyba Hinds for carrying me to my first bike park, he stuck with me till the end after I went over the bars on a big jump and had to be rushed to the ER. Minus Separating my AC joint, this experience was extremely fun, riding my first downhill bike and shredding on a dedicated bike park. When I recover I will be visiting this park again and create more fun memories....

Woooooowww: crazy, crazy …..crazy….where are you locate in Ontario ?
Could somebody (nobody did far as I know) record an object a bit far away in 8k (Ace Pro 2) and then show in the editing how far you could zoom into the recorded movie before the quality gets too bad to show on RUclips (1080p you should have on RUclips I think to enjoy videos).

Is the action 5 mounted to the chest and the ace pro 2 to the helmet? Or are both cameras chest mounted? I've been watching yt for a few days with a comparison of these 2 cameras because I want to buy one and I still don't know which one is better. In your video, the stabilization and sharpness performs better on the ace pro 2. In your previous video, the action 5 performed better, so a lot depends on the camera settings.
@@lotbeztchu great point that I failed to mention anywhere in the vid. Yes you are right, the AcePro2 is helmet mounted and the Action5 is on the chest mount. I’ll switch them up for my next ride and post up the results. The “pure video” mode on the AcePro2 really improved the low light and stabilization ability of the camera.

@@NavinRamrattan im stupid, sorry, setting is at start of video😅 but exposure shutter speed which value is chosen? I fighting with small jitters and cant deal with it. Iso have a brutal range but i see in woods with this conditions must bee total dark.

I like both cameras, but I give the Ace Pro 2 the edge because the video is brighter and the colors are punchy. I watched the video on my iPhone so I don’t know how much the screen on this device is influencing the video image. I’ll watch on my computer and TV to see if it makes any difference.
I think the same. If you pay attention to the low light sections the action5 loses details in the background but I’m not sure if the water droplets on the lens had any effect on it. My next vid I’m going to take the plunge and record in LOG and make my first attempt at color grading.
I like both caneras, but I am biased towards DJI. On my tv and internet speed, they both look good. I usually use a slower frame rate, 24, in lower lighting conditions on my Osmo Action 3. A slower fps allows, in theory, more light to enter and increase in the picture brightness and thus better stability.

The ohlins rxf38 fork post mounts are for 200mm rotors.

Check out the dynamic range of the sky at 1:55 with the Ace Pro 2! That's why I always say don't just compare specs, you need to look at real-world performance. The stabilization is really strong on both. I'm also curious, if you switch the stabilization from standard to high, will there be a noticeable difference?
The Acepro 2 performs better when the light dims, but I can't really notice any other differences. I’d suggest putting the two footage side by side (like left and right) for an easier comparison.

The golden light on the top of the ridge looked better on the Ace Pro 2. But for everything else, the Action Pro is my fav. This trail looks real fun though...

Nice video bro. The Ace Pro horrible in low light when you use auto. The action 5 was way better in auto with the low light.
The Ace was better in low light conditions and had less wind noise than the Action. Nevertheless, both good cameras.

I did 92.1kph 3 weeks ago with the SRAM Centerlines... worked great 😅 🥵 200mm rear, 220mm front. Uploading a vlog with it next week with the live stats on the screen using that same Action 5 Pro. Adds a nice dynamic to the visuals, you should use it! 💪🏽

I currently have rim brakes that sounds like a train derailing if I press it hard. These seem better.
Try some wd40 and see if it helps.

Hey bro. The hs2 and mtx pads combo worked excellent. They never over heated like the centerline 180mm and the pads were silent even in wet conditions. They would squeal for the first 2 or 3 seconds after getting wet and then they would be silent again.

This one of the cleanest, and stable nighttime footage from an action camera! You can see so much detail and the colours really pop.
I always find it more accurate to tune the shifting while riding the bike
