Yes that very true. I didn’t grow up in an affectionate household. And it spilled over to my love life, like I wouldn’t really like lovey dovey stuff 😭 even Romantic movies was too much for me 🤣. But it taught me to love more on my kids and they are growing up in an affectionate home and I Love that for them 🤍.

And baby it wasn’t good at all 😭 but God is a restorer obedience is better than sacrifice

I relate and I'm already on the other side. Thank you for your testimony. When we're young with childhood traumas, there's a lot that hinders us from obeying God, and we don't realise that we're strong enough to stand. Who you are now is who you could have always been and who God always wanted you to be - and I refer to myself here too!

My ex been reaching out and I most went the other day and I just turned my phone off. My bestie told me don’t go you have plans on getting married right. So that motivated to stay obedient. Also yesterday he tired to convince me and I got dressed and everything but he never called me. I was so relieved 😌 Red Flag: Don’t deal with a person that is still willing to deal with you knowing you are already in a relationship with someone else. That shows their morals and standards.
