Obsolete? That’s a brand new indicator brother, they’re still being sold by Mettler it was sold by our brother company Atlantic Scale Co.

The switch on the inside of the indicator got it sorry brother was thrown off there for a second

Put the switch “MARK” to the on position

I would have to run across that model all the cal vids i post are calibrations done in the field i don’t have that model on hand but if i do run across that model most definitely 💯

Honestly there’s a lot you have to troubleshoot to find that out, to much to try and actually explain, It could be the Indicator, main cable, load cell or load cells The Junction board if there’s one, all have to be troubleshooted, is it a bench top scale? Is it a floor base scale?

depending if it’s a single load cell or multiple load cell either the load cell or load cells are damaged or the main cable from the junction box or board is cut or damaged or disconnected

Not to skilled on Mettler/Toledo but usually Ram error is a memory chip error once you power it down and power it back up it has to be reprogrammed and Recalibrated every time the power is recycled

@@Raddamez1215 i tried calibrating it, like in your video. It functions now. Getting a checksum error now, but it clears. I have two of these scales and they use to be tethered together. Not sure how all that works. But something about sample size..?.. I'm not doing any samples or batches. I don't need them for anything but weighing boxes for shipping packages and weighing propane bottles to know if they are empty. I downloaded a book for them, it seems pretty basic. I need to reprogram them to not look for each other, i think. But the problems i am having will probably require pulling the CMOS or eprom and having it reprogrammed.

Cause 500 lbs is all i had but for any scale it’s recommended to apply at least 10% of the capacity when your adjusting the calibration

If you use the Tare key to tare off the weight you have to use the tare key again to zero the weight if you use the zero key to zero off the weight than you have to use the zero key again to zero off the weight

Thank you for the FAST reply! I'll give this a try. Every time I do turn it on I also get error 4 and it shows 4.745 lbs, is this a calibration issue? @@Raddamez1215

I've downloaded the manual and going to give it a through read through yet. I just wouldn't expect an error out of the box with 1 calibration cycle.

Check in between the top and bottom frame for anything binding brand new scales are sent with load locks or something wedged in between to keep the load cell from being damaged during transport

@@Raddamez1215 I did not find anything protecting or holding the cell stable, the scale is also accurate when I can get it to tare and compare weights with another scale. I'm starting to think this scale was returned and resold from the vendor I used. I do not get the err 4 when turning it on without the stainless pan in place. If I replace it and tare I can then get count mode working for small hardware, but running into other errors yet. If I continue having issues I will contact ADAM. I can't thank you enough for your time and direction. Your videos have been helpful also.

Not sure if weights and measures have the same procedures in different states but if a scale doesn’t display the class, then through hand book 44 table T 1. 1. you would times the applied weight by .1% if it does display the class then you follow table 6 to Calculate the tolerances hope this was somewhat helpful
