Very nice. Less talk and more action would have been better.

Wow this layout is fantastic, I love hearing all the stories and history! I'm 22 and been model railroading my whole life and just recently got into o gauge and discovered prewar stuff, now im doing standard gauge and I'm loving every bit of it

More running the trains and less talk sounds good in this scene!

Will you ever be making more of these on the scale episodes? They are missed.

I had been collecting O gauge since I was 10 years old. Then I saw the CTT magazine in spring of 1989 with Chuck on the cover. When I saw the brass #54 I just fell hard for Standard Gauge. Now as I approach my 60th birthday I now have both O and Standard Gauge layouts. Thank you Chuck. 🚂

Why would they build a turn table the size of a Volkswagen? I love this museum and the people there but why? You have a full railroad, what a waste of time and money. You need a turntable that works with the equipment you have. It Is a cute little thing, but it’s too small for 15” Guage live steam railroad. I’m just saying the obvious and I’m sure I’m not the only one who also thought of that. When I do move up that way, and I should have my new hip surgery done as well, I’ll do what I can to help. 👍

Back in 1989 I bought my first Classic Toy Trains magazine and on that cover was Chuck’s Standard Gauge trains. Thank you Chuck for getting me started with Standard Gauge trains 😊 I have worn out that magazine. Now I have the video. Favorite is the #54 brass.

OH Baby what a fine layout and collection! I can remember being 6 years old and viewing volume 2 of TM videos with my Granfather. I developed an affinity for standard gauge trains that is just as strong today as it was in 1992. Thank you Chuck for the memories and glad to see that the adaptation of your layout is more astounding now than it was before!

Back in 1980, I was watching this documentary on one of the public stations it was the company Buda Shoes, I think that the company was in India, and the program was interesting, the discount shoe store Pic way carried all kinds of their products, one of the company executives was Dave Marchant, that name just stuck in my head, he flew here to the states, and the camera crew followed him all around the country, and low and behold, the next scene he was visiting shoe stores talking to the customers, and he was here in bluefield at Pic way, this guy came half way around the world selling shoes.
