I respect the Bible, but I strongly oppose certain interpretations of its teachings. The verse from 1 Corinthians 10:23 (ESV) states, “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful; “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. While we live in this world, we are not meant to conform to the patterns of this world. Living in this world should mean adhering to the standards set forth in God's Word and the truth of the Almighty. Listening to secular music isn’t sin, but absolutely, it can be wrong choice or decision! inherently, the Bible emphasizes the importance of what we hear. For instance: - Romans 10:17 tells us, “Faith comes from hearing.” - Galatians 3:2, 5 speaks of “hearing with faith.” - James 1:19 advises us to “be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.” We must ask ourselves: Are we quick to hear the voice of God or merely secular songs (which is voice of People)? Proverbs 18:2 reminds us, “A fool takes no pleasure in understanding but only in expressing his opinion.” When you listen to secular music, does it bring healing from depression, anxiety, or spiritual bondage? I doubt it. However, when you hear or sing songs of the Lord, you can experience healing in body, soul, and spirit, find deliverance from anxiety, and cultivate a deeper connection with God through joy and praise. On the other hand, secular love songs or certain genres like metal and hip-hop may reinforce patterns of despair and loneliness. They can lead to harmful choices, such as substance abuse (Drugs) or unhealthy lifestyles (Sex, Adultery & Suicide), which are contrary to God’s will. Every song carries a story, a deep message, and sometimes even elements of darkness such as spells, black magic, or hidden agendas. As Christians, it’s important to be discerning about what we listen to. Are you hearing the voice of God or the voice of the world? The choice is yours! Let's focus on sharing the truth instead of promoting ideas that don’t align with God’s teachings. and stop teaching NONSENSE!!!
