Welcome to the dc20 dream team ya? =) the community is just awesome!
I love seeing more perspectives on DC20!
Im driving across Ireland at the moment, listening to your extraordinary conversation. It is 11pm, its still bright, but raining, and your discussion shortens the journey. I've read the books and watched the Netflix version. I'd highly recommend the Chinese series. The detail and recollection of your destruction is extraordinarily entertaining!
They don’t convey how the San-ti communicate, which is why in the Netflix adaptation the concept of lying is foreign to them doesn’t make sense. The aliens don’t speak like we do, they have a visual form of communication that projects their thoughts. You cannot lie if someone can literally see what you are thinking
The Netflix series had me read the whole series since I wanted to see how it ended. Wildly creative
DC20! 💜
Maybe we could move away from the D20?
I’m super excited for DC20!
Looking forward too more DC20 videos loving the discussion
I’ve been GMing and playing DC20 since the 0.4 alpha and it isn’t disruptive. I did get in the habit of announcing the monster is attacking or casting or doing whatever they’re doing and ask, “Anyone doing anything about that?” Before rolling and/or announcing results. Works smoothly that way.

Real name for Dungeon Coach is Alan Bjorkgren.😎
The use of that meme is perfect! And I think applies on and off to a lot of the TTRPG scene!
Awesome. 🙂👍🏻 What a great preview. Looking forward to more DC20 videos. I have played two one-shot sessions of DC20. It was a blast. 🎲 Looking forward to BETA. 😊 Have a nice day.
I have no idea wtf this showed up on my feed.
Neither do we! Enjoy!
Get one on a tower and it will reach farther
Bill is doing that! He's all in.
Sapient beings.
I did watcg this series and enjoyed it. Sorry it isn't being continued.
Sorry I have been absent from these discussions. I enjoy a good analysis of the series and movies.
This is anything but a kids movie. There is a lot of deep underlaying meaning to this movie. I'm 74 and cried, like many other RUclips reviewers of the movie at the end. I felt Nimona's deep pain.
Why is this girl reviewing. She doesn’t even know their names. Did she even watch it? Has she ever read any Poe?
Natasha can't act FFS and Sabine is not a Jedi!!!
They didn't even need The Bat Computer to figure out it was more than 1 Super Villain. ❤❤❤❤
Was born in 1980. That was the BEST!! When I 1st saw this show, my goodness that was it!! One Love and RIP to any of the cast that's not with us anymore!!
Really? You warn about spoilers and got one of the biggest in your thumbnail.🤦
😂
Another appearance by Garfunkel and Oates after Kate Micucci's turn in Cabinet of Curiosities
Love Garfunkel and Oates!
Sounds like a great show! Good job!
It is!
I have no idea what this is but im just going to like it
This is such an amazing place.
Eu nao entendi o que ele falou !
Looks great, eh
To be fair, absolute trashing of the third wall is a hallmark of She-Hulk. She was essentially in dialogue with John Byrne.
"Daredevil is looking..." Maybe not, sir.
Proud drifter here.
Love to see you in the comments! We need to reply more!
Great job, guys!👊🤛
Master Chief here, thanks!
Hello Bill, and company.
Good debate
HeyUGuys. Congratulations for this video, comments, and analysis very interesting of this marvelous and scary TV series with a wonderful cast, especially the unforgettable Rosa Salazar. Thanks,.
Thanks again for having me, and for letting me blather about my books!
I hope that we can have you back sometime! That was fun!

[̲̅p][̲̅r][̲̅o][̲̅m][̲̅o][̲̅s][̲̅m] 🤷
At about 39 minutes they were talking about a guy dressed in red leading a group of beautiful women exercising. I think that was Jack La Lane. Does anyone else remember it that way?
Looks like IMDB at least has a reference to it, so probably likely! Batman ('66) seems like the kind of movie that other people would have wanted to be in for a bit of fun. There's probably lots of other cameos that I just straight up missed too.
I'm probably going to winnow myself down to Prime and then return to the old school video store model. If I want to see something, I pay a couple of bucks, just like Blockbuster. I'm ok with that.
That works fine too! Sometimes it's cheaper to just buy a series on digital than get roped into six months of that service that you only wanted the single show for.
Speaking Truth To Power. It resonates in the movie as well as our experience with the Covid-19 pandemic. It is depressing because of how close it is to our own experiences.
I really enjoy the interaction between all of you in reviewing each movie.
Thank you! We appreciate the feedback. 😀
Thank you so much for having me
The psychology of robotics was a very important part of the Asimov novels. The public rejection of robots was one of the primary themes addressed in the I, Robot novel.
It’ll be interesting to see how things play out in real life.
Yes, indeed. I have to wonder what new rules Asimov would have added were he alive today. While his rules were great for human-robot interaction, I don't think he ever addressed rules for a robot faced with a binary decision where either option results in the death of one or more people. For example, a situation where one or more passengers are riding in an autonomous vehicle when a child runs out in front of the vehicle. The robot can swerve off the road over an embankment killing it's passengers or run over the child. What rules would govern the AI's decision? I would have loved to see a novel that dealt with the programming around this thorny issue.
Asimov did not change the basic rules but he broaden the interpretation of them to allow robots to interact with humans in situations that could be detrimental to the well being of the humans. You would really have to follow the remainder of the series to see how the rules were expanded to allow robots to work with humans in space and in the last part of the series to even make decisions which weighed humanity as a whole versus the welfare of a few.
@@aragorn7233 Interesting! Thanks for the information, I'll have to pick up other books in the series as you've piqued my interest. :)
@@WilliamDangerNewman The sequel to the robot series is the “Foundation Series” where really challenging events (including intimacy) are addressed. I haven’t read these in a number of years but I can tell you that Asimov was a master at realistically portraying the potential interactions between humans and advanced robots. All while never forgetting the fundamental “Three Laws”. I have to go search for my copies now because I need to revisit the story line again.
Great job guys and gals. Very informative without being discouraging. I have almost all of the Dune collection and really appreciate how well they have done with the screenplays. I can’t wait to see this one.
