Gear boy could have stronger ligaments than you cuz youth not gear. Will your recovery go up cuz gear? Maybe? I know lots of dudes who did thier damndest with cycles to no gains. That's all I'm trying to say. I'm not addressing every scenario in existence, I'm addressing the rule not the exception, one off freak circumstance. • @hamudi4841
      @hamudi4841 17 дней назад

      @@undeniable90 Well, simply wrong. The study you are refering to in your short is the study by Kassiano et al. (Greater Gastrocnemius Muscle Hypertrophy After Partial Range of Motion Training Performed at Long Muscle Lengths). It was not a waste of money at all, but rather an additional important piece of the puzzle in excercise science and in our knowledge about muscle length training. The resistance curve of the calve raise is so that it is hardest at the top. Even though it is most "painful" at the bottom because of the deep stretch. If you try lengthened partials on a calve raise, you will be able to move a lot more weight. This is proof that calve raises are hardest at the top. If you do lengthened partials on an excercise where it is actually hardest at the bottom / stretched position, you will notive that you will be able to move way less weight (for example a Squat, RDL etc) If you take rows or pulldowns as another example, you will be able to move a low more weight with lengthened partials. This is due to the fact that these excercised are hardest at the contracted position and easiest at the stretched position (like a calve raise is too) Hope I could clear that up

And if your so infallible then you should be confident enough to start your own channel. Or have you not done that becasue deep down you know your ideas aint worth a shit to begin with?? The fact is your life would grow faster if you focused on it 100% rather than taking time away from it to attack someone else's. It's just a time thing.... and you are someone who wants to use their time efficiently right?

    Perfect. Drawing out the solid gold in the form of first principles, which are more fundamental than fundamentalism.

    Stop it. Resting does encourage growth, but not resting from exercising completely. Resting muscle groups. You’ll have people on here thinking that they’ll Mr. Olympia with a weight routine every other day that’s not happening

      @alexm1841 Hey, man. I advocate 3-4 times a week. 45-50 minutes per session hard and intense. Then, going home and letting your body recover. However people take it outside of that, I can't help. Appreciate the engagement, man.

    Hmmmm.... limited RoM close to complete contraction can't be beaten. Degree of efficacy of stimulation is directly proportional to the maximum load borne within a limited range in the strongest RoM.

      100% Man you can feel which part of the movement is the hardest. Science has its place but some things are common sense.

      @undeniable90 love the common sense with which you approach strength training, dude. There is no common sense without wisdom, and wisdom is elusive. Heard recently, and this came as confirmation of my experience working with honest (objective) researchers, from an editor of a highly esteemed scientific journal, that over 50% of peer reviewed published papers are BS. Slam dunk bro. Stay out of the weeds, stay based and work it out. Literally. It's a great pleasure to follow your journey. Good on you.

      Limited ROM in the contraction are called shortened partials and are inferior for muscle growth compared to Full ROM and lengthened partials.

      @hamudi4841 Hey man. Yeah I just addressed the experiment. I think the best application is a lot of emphasis in stretched position even pausing and then all the way to the top. Partials have their place in various exercises but not as the primary basis for this movement.

      Dude thats crazy editor of a scientific journal basically said 50% is BS. And I don't doubt it 50% is probably a conservative number, ha. And thanks a ton man.
