hello !! i'm christine, a freshman at uw studying business administration :)) who knew that the week that i filmed this would be the last time i could see my friends for a while :(( anyhow, this attempt of a vlog features flattering angles, speaking in hushed tones, and awkward moments because filming in public is intimidating hehe
What laptops are most common at UW? Macs or PCs? Looks like Macs
From what I’ve seen, there’re a good mix of both! But I do see Macs more

as marketing is a pretty broad subject, my school thankfully provides courses that cover most-if not all-areas of marketing :))

My sister applied to University Of Washington would you recommend it she got into 10/15 colleges she applied to she got rejected by USC, University Of Chicago, Tufts, BU, and Columbia but she’s choosing between University Of Washington, UCI, UCD, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, Occidental, Syracuse, Barnard, and Sarah Lawrence College
I can’t say which college your sister should attend. It all depends on what major she is and what kind of program she’s looking for!
are you a double major at foster? :O i'm really interested in doing HR and IS (i'm an incoming freshman) do you have any tips or advice? tysm<3
yes i am! and hmm the only thing i can say is that hr is one of the smaller majors at foster, so if anything you may potentially graduate sooner (due to fewer requirements). as for i s, that’s a popular major at foster, and i like the classes they offer for that! and if you really wanted to get a minor, i think it’d be doable! :))

hi !! a case competition is where your team is given a business scenario and you have to determine a solution for it, to which you then present your solution to the judges

the acceptance rate for UW is roughly 50%, so it’s not as difficult to get into compared to some UCs

man, I'm a junior at UW and watching this made me soooo nostalgic for pre-pandemic college life..really hope by this autumn it will be safe to go back because I miss it so much! thanks for making this video
I love this video! do you know anyone studying psychology? i really want to go to uw but idk if its a good school for psych
aw thank you !! and yes, i do! my friend said that uw is nice in that they offer a lot of flexibility in concentrations in psych and it’s easy to get into. however, uw isn’t known for psych and in her opinion, isn’t worth out of state (if you are) money considering you can probably find a similar psych program elsewhere for cheaper. hope that helped 😊

UW seems like an amazing school. I have heard it is hard to get into the major you want, depending on the major. International Law is something im interested in, but idk if its one of the competitive majors. I’ve also heard about the seattle freeze, how would you recommend making friends in a very introverted environment?
i’m not sure if international law is competitive but chances are, it is 😅 i’m sure there’s more info online about it tho. as for making friends, going to events (especially the welcome week events, which is where i made most of my friends !!) and joining clubs will definitely help :))
