Hello, my name is Sam, also known as Triple Nickel Niner. I have been around tools all my life. I am a maker and have been a home owner for over 20 years. I love to share ideas and connect with other makers.
I know my channel name sounds very military, which it is. I myself was not in the military but my Father was. My Father jammed radar during the Korean War. He would share stories with me about a plane that he knew of in the Air Force, and the plane was called Triple Nickel Niner, and the name always stuck with me.
This is also a faith based channel. I received my local ministry license in October of 2021 in the Nazarene Church and will soon receive my District License. So this channel is clean with no swearing or inappropriate behavior. If you like the channel please like, comment and subscribe! And God bless.

Longer Video pls and show the whole Setup pls. Thx😊
@@onkelvolki I will try to make a video soon. I bought a joyo connection for the iPhone, they run 20 bucks on Amazon, it is the best 20 bucks I have spent and it works very well with the knock out and hooking instruments to BandLab.
How do I transfer files? Is there a software ?
@@JohnnyGonzales-c4r so you can transfer files from sites like printables. that’s the one I like to use you download it. You add your file to your slicer program that either comes with your printer or an online program like cura and then you added to the TF card that comes with this printer, and it shows up on the screen, and you can select the file. some of the more high-end printers print via Wi-Fi. But this one you can only download your code file from your slicer to the TF card and then inserted into the printer.
Turn your speed up bro its way way to slow . Mine is pumping out 300 mm a second. Flying 😂
Yes I love mine
Incredible video continue like that ❤
Welcome to the club 😊3D printing is so much fun, you're going to love having this thing!
Also waterproof. Had mine for a few years now. Works great. Always comes in clutch.
Practical advice. You have no place on the internet. Kidding! Good stuff!
Those are moles in your yard and they are a pain to get rid of! :)
good deal. sound like a trip to Harbor Freight
Sadly, I do not have a harbor freight in my area. Which is probably a good thing because then I would be broke.😊😅 the closest HarborFreight to me is almost an hour away🫤
@@triplenickelniner closest one to me is 30 minutes
That’s a great tip. 👍
Thanks! I have been doing more with magnets in my shop. They come in super handy for quick grab storage! 😀
@@triplenickelniner yes. I have magnets on the side of my bandsaw and drill press with stuff stuck to them 👍
But great idea on a hanging tool to keep it in place
In my old age I've switched over to a cased socket set. Tractor Supply had a sale a couple years ago on a Dewalt set that has 1/4"-1/2" SAE/Metric sockets. Regular and deep well. I wished it came with a 1/4" ratchet. I like it cause I know where all my sockets are. I still have a drawer for bigger sockets and other tools that require a ratchet to use. I like that blue socket holder you have though. I've tried all kinds of socket holders in the past and never really cared for them. Seems like a socket fall off and get lost.:)
Yeah, sorry, I forgot to explain that in the video. This socket holder is magnetic. It’s magnetic on the bottom so it can stick in your tool box drawer, but it is also magnetic where the sockets sit. So they should not fall out. 😀
I don't think a shop can ever be organized correctly. They just seem to always get messed up. I've moved recently and I get to setup a new shop soon. I'll be losing 400 sq. feet. I'll be moving into a 14x40 building that is finished on the outside but I have to do everything on the inside. :)
That’s awesome you get to start over though. It will be nice to work with a clean slate.😀
That's some badassery right there 👍
Thanks! Hope to have it done soon. Waiting on some parts I ordered. I will do a full video on it when it’s done.😁
Thanks! I hope to have it done soon and I’ll post another short.😊
looks good my man! great idea!
got a 2ft pipe wrench in one of my drawers, but really putting 6 side by side, repaint/add wheels and convert top drawer to hutch youd have a perfect begineer technician box
COOL set up key to working in small place is keep it some what clean ,
Yes, I agree and I’m trying to implement ways to keeping it cleaner. I have even thought about painting my bench a certain color and I’m it allowed to leave the workshop until I can see the color. I know it sounds crazy but could be a game changer.

I have not filled up mine yet. I also have a bucket for the scrap yard. 😊

Just shot the hull under the track
Are you a beginner?
Thanks, I hope to upload more videos soon. 😂
hey triple nickel! it’s me Redbaron2nd it may not be my name on youtube but i just came to say it was fun playing with you
i have 1080 hours on this game its fun
Wow! That’s awesome! I hope to get better as I go. I need to learn about more tanks with better armor 😊
good luck my friend
Thanks, I am still Learning. I need to Step up my game because I have not been doing so well the last few 😂
Thanks. Check back for more! Thanks for watching. 😊
I highly recommend the pegboard jars. I hope to buy more soon😂
Yeah, it works good I just wish I had a way to see what I’m doing when I use it😅
I have a small bicket for that stuff. Then when I go to the metal place I take it with me.
Good idea for the overhead shot! I've used those lid hinges on a toy box for my granddaughter. It is a learning curve to get them placed just right! :)
Yeah it turned out pretty good. I want to make one that’s a bit taller down the road.
I have those little storage bin things with drawers. I don't really care for them either. I got looking at mine the other day and realized I only really need 12 of them. The rest of them are just full of things that you would love! LOL I've also used ammo cans for storage but I've never seen clear ones. I might have to look into those!
Well, they are not clear. I really like them, but they are not super tough. They do crack. I have one with a cracked lid I don't use from Walmart. They are more of a white color. Amazon had their version on a lighting deal for several weeks where they were around 4 dollars a box, but now they are back up to 6 a can. So, for sure worth checking out. I just bought 4 more this week. Here is a link to them. www.amazon.com/dp/B08YBYBVX6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I use those sheetrock screws for just about everything too! I used those when I put up all the OSB pieces for my walls in my shop!
Yeah, I think my whole shop is held together with those 😅
Looking good! That reminds me, I have a clsoet with shelves to paint.
You should made a video on it! I still have more to paint, I am just trying to get the shop back in order after all of the yard sailing I have been doing😅
I had a corner like that until recently. :)
When I painted my golf cart OD green, I found a video on RUclips where you take a quart of Rustoleum Kelly Green, gloss black and brown primer. I forgot the ratio but it made over a half gallon of OD paint. Just a thought if you plan on painting more things OD green. Save you time and money.:)
Is that in gallon liquid paint? Or spray paint?
What are some of your favorite ways to store hardware?
Awesome EDC! The glue sticks are a brilliant idea. Thank you for sharing!
Check out the full video on my channel! Like and subscribe!
What is your favorite everyday carry gear? Let me know in the comments!
I actually prefer doing this compared to using pegboard. With this you can put your tools exactly where you want them!
Yes, I really don’t like peg board.
I also don't like the support boards you have to put behind it which gets in the way of placing a hook. :)@@triplenickelniner
I agree, I think that if you are going to do peg board, just do the whole wall and attach a full sheet to the studs. @@Ijustpiddle
I've been trying to watch that video. But for some odd reason it buffers when it gets to the part where you are attaching the lazy susan to the wood. I'll be at my other land this weekend and will give it a try there.
Hmm, I will have to check that out. It is one of my older videos. I will watch it later and if anything I can make a update video on it.
I would like to see how you built that movable arm rig. I need something like that over my work bench for my gopro. Right now I have a basically a stick coming down with a mount for the gopro to mount to. I'd like to have something movable.:)
I have a video on my channel on how I made it. Its one of my first videos. I used a lazy susan and put two boards together with the lazy susan and mounted it on my ceiling to my shop. Then I cut the arms to the size I wanted in different links with carriage bolts and wing nuts. I would like to make a spinning bottom rig so I can spin the camera at the bottom. I may do that in another build. Other than a lazy susan, I thought about using a old swivel desk chair. It would be way stronger. You should make a video on your camera rig.
Love you !
Very nice idea . I have all my stuff in peanut butter jars !!
I did mason jars for years. I also used Gatorade bottles for a while too. I am starting to transition to hyper tough utility boxes for like stuff. I hope to do a video on that soon.
Good idea!
I did mason jars for years. I am not starting to add deep storage stuff to plastic ammo cans from walmart.
Ammo can are good for when you need to take stuff somewhere! I have a couple in my shop and I actually don't think I have anything in them.;) I used to do the baby jar thing. That's what my dad did and I thought it was a cool concept back then, not so much now.
