It has a 5% chance to spawn every day/night, the usual cheese to beat those chances is to keep spamming the sundial totems until it eventually spawns As per the chance of reeling one during the event, I'm not sure but you should consider using shark heads as bait because Megalodons prefer it, alsooooo I suggest you use a good rod like the ROTD/No life's rod or if you're a beginner, the arctic rod would be very helpful to handle the penalty that the megalodon gives Side note: there are three variants of Megalodons that have different spawn percentage respectively; Normal Meg - 90% Ancient Meg (the one I got) - 8% Phantom Meg - 2% :) that's all the info I can provide

@@HillKeath buy the arctic rod, it's purchaseable in northern expedition for only 32k credits, it's very beginner friendly and has a weight limit of 80k 💜
