This is brilliant, after the blasphemous opening ceremony and the banning of any displays of religious expression in the competition areas (though some did find ways around it), it is great to see that Christians were able to worship openly in the village. Wonderful to see too, the effect it had on those who heard it. Thank you for sharing it.

The LORD gave us a task to witness others about Him and His great Love. All glory belongs to God.

Even amidst the controversy of the godless display and distasteful mockery of the Lord Jesus at the opening ceremony, the faithful from Fiji (and I hope athletes from other countries joined) gathered to honour the most High, Living God...... testimony to the fact that you can't keep God out even if you tried.

I'm a blessed woman who married a Fijian man and look forward to attend a Fijian church on a Sabbath. It's like being in heaven when they sing. These people should be very proud of their heritage. God bless everyone !

I'm a 67-year-old worship musician and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes listening to these beautiful voices. May God bless them.

The comment about discouragement is not Christ like we are to be of good cheer Jesus Christ overcame the world, and we can be overcomers too , when you are looking for an easy out you will end up more discouraged when you find out there isn't one , The pretribulation rapture teaching is setting people up for the antichrist, I encourage you to have faith like the three that were thrown into the firey furnace, and walked out. They even said " even if the lord does not save us from the firey furnace will not bow down to you , what happened to the ones who threw them in ? They were destroyed, what happened to the Egyptians that pursued the isrealites through the red sea ? They were destroyed after the isrealites made it through, what happens to the antichrist and the wicked after the great Tribulation and the saints make it through, The wicked and the antichrist will be destroyed, WAKE UP PEOPLE

The pretribulation rapture teaching is a false teaching, those who believe in a pretribulation rapture theology will probably be deceived by the antichrist WHY? Because they are looking for the return of Christ before the antichrist is revealed THINK ABOUT IT,

One thing for sure, there will never be another Bill or Gloria Gaither, they are a one time in history kind of thing. I've heard so much of the music of the Gaither Vocal Band and the old Trio, and, even though the Vocal Band in all its iterations has done good, none of them sounds as good as the trio with Gloria and Danny did. But I started watching this wanting to know a bit of the history of their faith. What denomination are they? In which one did they get their start? One of the pics of them with Gloria holding a baby, she had a LOT of hair, I wonder if they started out Apostolic?

Hallelujah. I hear the sound of unashamed, humble, sincere adoration of the Lord. I think of the incredible people who took the Gospel of Christ to the Pacific around 200 years ago. They loved, they suffered and the carried the message of the Cross of Christ for this glorious outcome. Fiji is a lesson to the nations. “Hold fast to the faith that was delivered unto you.” “Be steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD!” While our nations can’t even describe what is a woman, these great people show us what is truly life. The abundant life of in Christ.
