This movie was pretty messy, although I somehow didn't see the Mr. Lee's identity twist coming, so I'll give it that! It also did a reasonably good job of making me kind of invested in the characters. I absolutely loathed them in the beginning, but damned if I didn't feel kind of bad when Sam found out he killed Brady after all. Yeah Brady was a terrible friend and he slept with Payton, but he did save Sam's life twice. (Of course Sam gets to spend that life in prison now lmao)
