i really like how you can make the characters look strong/in armor but still very feminine. on that note, have you seen those plumes that can be put on the backs of helmets? if you put one on her helmet it could look like a high ponytail and be both accurate and feminine!
Sounds like a plan, I honestly thought of adding a plume to another character's redesign (wont spoil whose just yet hehe). I was just worried the reattachable helmet will be a bit complicating with the plume because of her rised up hands and I will have some issues with layers and folders (I tend to get confused sometimes in them lol). But I am glad you like her!

I absolutely adore the glowing visions!!! the way the light bounces off of the characters is so cool!!! I'm excited for when you do Noelle because she's my favorite! I've always thought that her design is cool, but the armor doesn't really do much in terms of protection. In conclusion, your art is really cool and I look forward to seeing more :D

You did such a good job with this!! The redesign looks so good and makes Lisa look so much more like a librarian, all the research you did definitely payed off. I saw someone who was doing commentary on Yae Mikos design that said something like “Hoyoverse values visual appeal in character designs far more than storytelling” and I think that is so true for 90% of genshin characters. If I had no idea what Lisa did for a job and had to guess based off her design I wouldn’t pick librarian 😅 all your commentary was spot on and I liked hearing your perspective. You’ve gained a new subscriber and I’m excited to see who you redesign next :D

You are SO talented!! If she looked like that in-game, she'd legit be one of my favorite characters! Also THANK YOU for putting her hair in a braid, because as a fellow long-haired girlie I understand the pain of trying to do pretty much any outdoor activity without one 😭

I really like this design. Also, as a man with long hair who lives in a place with wind, I understand how annoying it gets when it's not tied up. As a history enthusiast, one suggestion I could make is to give her a buckler as a cosmetic. It's a type of small shield the size of a dinner plate that can be hung from the belt on your hip when not in use. Bucklers were very popular among archers cuz they were small enough to not get in the way when your trying to shoot but when paired with a small sword or dagger it still serves a decent defense if the enemy manages to get in melee range of you where the bow alone cant do much. I say cosmetic because I understand how classes in games like genshin Work and archer's can't do melee, but i thought a buckler cosmetic for an archer would make a nice reference to there real historical counterpart. Edit: fun fact, the term swash buckler comes from how popular bucklers were among pirates and the navy as well and how they would "swash" (old term for swing) from side to side on your hip as you walk.
Yooooo glad you like it :) Also thanks for this info and idea! Ajax (Childe) could have one cause he seems to be both an archer but also a melee fighter! (Even tho he seems more like an idiot who likes to risk it and as a result gets hurt lol)
@erbisartist I was thinking to myself he seems to duel weld for his attacks but then i remember another reason some liked bucklers was due to the low air resistance from there small size it's a lot easier to punch with it like an oversized metal boxing glove combined with a shield so I could see someone reckless doing stuff like that. Edit: I don't know if any genshin characters would ever use this but another sheld popular with archers was the pavise, a type of large tower shield with a kick stand you would wear on your back like a back pack while traveling, archers liked it cuz when you put it on the ground with the kick stand out you could stand behind it for cover while keeping both hands free to hold and use your bow. I kinda wish we had something like that in the game because it would be a cool mechanic, in my opinion, to place a shield on the ground like geo traveler's rock or Jonglees piller. Maybe if we ever got a geo bow user, they could use a pavise made from geo.

i love your art and your redesigns!! the research and little details you do are really thoughtful and unique and i agree with your points exactly also, if you struggle with forgetting what to say and being shy, (this isnt at all forcing of course, just friendly advice in case you want to use), you could always try writing yourself a script to go off of. it doesnt have to be a huge thing mapping out exactly what you're going to say but also a little list of things to bring up, that way you dont worry about completely making it up on the fly! im really looking forward to seeing more of your work 💜

Cause sometimes it just flies off my mind and I am like ".... Crap I forgot to mention this-". Now I have a notebook where I note every point in a characters redesign to remember what I should mention o3o
OMG it's great! I especially love Amber's outfit, as it now looks more "knight" than the original. Baron Bunny looks very good too, I like the detail of his crown. A stuffed animal that undoubtedly belongs to royalty. So elegant. (I'm not good at English, but I hope I wrote it well.)

Its mostly because I didnt pick it myself but from pinterest colourpalettes :( I was worried I might pick the wrong tan and people will yell at me.. But also thanks, I really appreciate your comment! Will change it a bit before posting the full work on instagram and other social media.

It just doesnt make any sense, if the character is outside in the sun by basic biology even if they're white - they will turn darker. 😭 (Unless their body doesnt produce much melanine (which often happens with people from the north regions of Europe) or doesnt produce at all like by albinos (which is a pathology). But thanks, I will!
@@erbisartist ur response is honestly so refreshin'. off topic but when Sumeru got released, and all the stupidest ppl quacked the same "oh, they're pale bc the forest shaded them from the sun" to defend hoyo's colorist choices- like no honey that's not how it works. i literally live in a tropic environment and lots of us are still somewhat tanned/dark skinned 💀
@@Janal_Hoe omg dont get me started I am SO tempted to redesign ALL Sumeru characters cause not only they live in tropical environment but also this region is based off India and Egypt I think, which makes me foam from anger they all are snowwhite like me in winter
