Hi guys I grew up in wentworth durban a so called coloured area...I do not like the coloured term because of it's history. It's made up by the white man during apartheid..what are you guys think of the term? I do know my blood line on both sides mom and dad, on my mom's side it's Zulu, Indian and British....I am a decendant of John Dunn the white zulu chief and on my dad's side I have south pacific, Mauritian and German...my Ancestors are from Kiribati 🇰🇮 it's an island in the pacific ...I would encourage "coloured " people to try find their heritage if they can...

Why do people still refer to the Khoi Nation as coloureds ? Remember the K-word and the C-word were born through racial segregation in 1950 , we know that we entered into a democratic affair in 1994 -- I still refer that government to be an apartheid government because they does not recognise ou Khoi Nation who are the real landowners...now we entered in a GNU ...still not recognized

I have always said to others that coloreds needs to stop grouping and isolating with each other and take part in the happening and running of the country. Gayten is doing something coloreds should have done long ago. It's too bad he seem to be more of a politian than someone who will bring huge change, I was expecting his focus right now to be on revitalizing coloreds community, easing and or solving drug use as well as gangsterism as those are the pressing issues. Fighting against blacks or white for power is not an answer, an answer is creating a south Africa that is inclusive and has no race. P.s Coloureds are not Khoisan, and khoisan don't want to be included or grouped with coloreds, so staying of saying coloreds are first inhabitants or similar and should be getting etc because of that is pointless. Gayten be a role model to coloreds and go pull them out of their isolation communities and have them be involved in working of the country, pointing fingers helps no one especially the coloreds

1st thing before even arguing should have been 'who wrote African history', Africa has no history recorded, before the colonizer we know of. The little we know off tells us how ancestors only wire animals skins and threw wooden spears. It's is stupidity to not consider that all we known as history is doctored to fit a specific purpose in someway. It's not that hard to find if current Egypt occupants are originals or not, just trace what commonalities do they have with other Africans towards the central part en south therm part, African blacks have always something in common with each other, be language or pronunciations to spiritual views and cultural practices. But I'm more convinced that today Egyptians will have more in common to some Asia occupants.
