I have this exhaust for my CB650R. It sounds awesome, especially in the lower end of the rev range. It also backfires on overrun above about 7500 RPM. Buy it. You will love it.

Great sounding exhaust! But one cautionary note for carbon fiber exhaust on an "adventure bike". Carbon fiber looks good and has good strength to weight ratio, but it isn't as "puncture/crack resistant" as metal. Which is bad for an offroad motorcycle that has small rocks constantly thrown at it from the rear tire. I had an aftermarket carbon fiber exhaust on a R1200 GS Adv that I ride hard on offroad single track even, and on a 10,000 mile trip to Alaska in 2020 my exhaust developed a pin hole from a rock chip. Of coarse I was at the Arctic Ocean on the Dalton Highway when it happened so the pin hole turned into a 12" split down the entire inside length of the exhaust before I could get to Fairbanks and replace it. Just food for motorcycle thought for those that ride their bikes as they were designed.

Not bad. The only thing I didn't see is the plug for the 02 sensor that the bike comes equipped with. does that get removed when installing this SP exhaust? I am planning on making the move on it, according to the website it does not have to be remapped ;-) I'd hate to get a warning light on my cluster tho
