Hi David. First week I've been home since August/September - doing a bit of Powerdirector catch up - back to my dad's tomorrow for a week to catch up, e.g. shopping. Thanks Dave - supposed to be fun, but trucks sometimes drives you round the bend :) Bought a new tram a while back, but had problems with HO, slopes, and my corners are too sharp. Will buy a used one and adapt the chassis. (pipe dream :) ) Alan.

Thanks Peter - using Premiere Pro video editor instead of PowerDirector. Clearer but more complicated, so it's learning and practice. One of these days I'll know what I'm doing....Alan.

Hi Dave. Premiere Pro is another Video Editor, like PowerDirector. Premier Pro is more exact, clearer. But, my using 3 different cameras, it adjusts fps and my crops deteriorate - PowerDirector is better - apart from 4K, Mobius is handled better. I'll keep experimenting. Powerdirector - you now have to renew every year now, so I am going back to PowerDirector 16, where the licence you bought was forever. These companies are chancers. (I think you are on PD14 - virtually as PD 16, which now takes in 3D - waste of time. Cropping is quicker in PD16 - not worth buying a new licence for though). Alan.

itloon Don’t think I shall go from 14 Alan , it’s all getting a bit pricey and complicated , but if you have to renew after 12 months with the new PD , no defiantly not for me .. I do use occasionally my movie maker on the iMac , it’s not bad , just not as good for editing out with sounds , that premier pro though is clear ... not bothered with 4 k these days 1080 is almost as good .. @@howarth004 I don't like this new forced renewal every year - Adobe did this 6 years ago with Premiere - my version is about 2012/2013 (before this forced annual payment version began), and like PD 14 - 16, does me fine. 1080/4K - until YT improve, unless you have 20/20 vision, no difference. That video was done at 4K, at 8am it was 2K - just now, it is 720p. Even at 720p it seems fine. (have never understood why YT changes). Alan.

Hi Adrian. Apart from teething problems of the camera and bogey, e.g. sound and fish-eye, I am pleased. The trucks add a bit of interest (due to space, my layout is mostly single line which some find boring). Thanks for your comments again. Alan.

Hi Dave. Trying the Polaroid Cube and trying out Adobe Premiere 6. I found the sound poor, and as you note, fish eye - not sure about sound but there'll be a fish-eye setting like the Powerdirector.....somewhere lol Was the wireless that interested me - this works well, but sometimes there is a lag for about 3 seconds when the camera is out of sight in the loft (not sure if this is my phone or the cube (not a problem though.). Hi Peter. The wireless camera works (handy when out of sight in the loft). Fish-eye can be corrected with software but the sound of the wagon it is being transported on is overwhelming. Pleased overall. Alan.

Hi Adi - you are correct - a Hornby J50, with the red line. Unfortunately, I tried to amend the running number to an Aberdeen shed, and ruined it :( It's still a good engine, I will paint it black in future. (Sometimes I try stupid things lol) Alan.

It was the Hornby R3324 LNER 635 - one of the strongest engines I have - wish I could get another shell, as I know painting might make it even worse. Learn by mistakes :(

Hi Dave. Previously, the wheels were Bachmann 12.6 - the Hornby 14 has made a difference to the articulated (had considered replacing the Poundstretcher with Howarthe transfers earlier, but you might claim copyright lol). There was a combined road rail system at the start of my Perth Model Display 2017 video. Its well done, and not a distraction from the trains, which our road is just now. Taken some of your tips, one being the Edding white line marker, (hope we can do as good a job) but I like that foliage fencing. (bit pricey at £10 for about 2-3 ft). More decisions to be made than Brexit lol.

Hi Adrian. The road is just normal OO rail, but didn't realise it had corroded on the sharp corners (it is the original over 40-year old. The lorries are broken up toys - Hornby have the cheapest and best quality chassis 0-4-0 to put motors in. Always good to get a question or comment from you - sorry this answer is long. Alan.

Hi Fred. ????Yes, £1. I bought a Hornby 0-6-0 chassis, took out the innards of the Poundland truck. For the cab, I took off the Poundland plastic wheels, and put on 12.6mm Hornby. Not happy, so might try 14.1mm. Just mucking about. Alan.

Hi Neal. This option was taken. (it was very little extra for what I would consider a necessity).

mine is the same,i didn't pay for the oscilating feature (I missed it when ordering),I removed the base and the motor for oscilating is there but it wont oscilate !

@@nealcouzens205 Checked my faulty one - it also has the motor, and wiring from it. I can only assume the motors are poor quality. Its also possible, I would have got the motorised one anyway, without paying extra. I checked Ebay, similar motors are available. I might try it. I also noticed another make of EcoHeat is available - identical appearance - £30-£40. Of course these might be useless, and a waste of money.

Hi Adi. The fault is now on video, but they did ask me to put it on RUclips. I know the difference the turning makes when spreading the heat. I've checked the manufacturer - its not Hornby lol Alan.

Hi Dave. The heater is very simple to use - no menus etc. Contacted seller, they wanted video of Turn button. Then they wanted video of + button on RUclips. This video shows the lot. Have contacted Paypal. Was abou £70 - not just £20 as you might think. We'll see. Alan.
