hmmm yeas this is why we build cabs for most stuff with a keyboard encoder ipac so that is never an issue. TBH I only ever plug in one flightstick and throttle into my cabs so that isn`t an issue. PLUG THEM IN ONE AT A TIME : If you plug one in for the 1st time on it`s own it should be nominated as joystick one from there on in and so forth for the 2nd joystick as long as you don`t disconnect them later

as u will know nearly all flightstick games are 1 player hence my need for only one and I will connect a trackball , lightgun or a wheel for some games that can use any of those things including a flightstick

if you do disconnect them later make sure that you plug them in again and let them power up in the right order as before

........ and if something went wrong sometime and they reverse ( I have a couple of x360 encoder in one of my Cabs and that happed ) then there is a fix to get windows to forget their joystick ID`s and then you can set them up again but I don`t remember what it was

Hi there sorry late reply, this Menu item is for my custom COinOps builds and the Menu selection for this is drawing from a host of other systems that are running in my Custom COinOps Cabs and so is not a standalone build

The PC powering the ARcade Cab has an i7 4790k CPU and a GTX 1660ti

A GTX1060 will do (used to have that with this system) but it will run louder and hotter with the most demanding games & the CPU in here ( 4core, 8thread ) is just about good enough to run the PS3 emulated games at 60fps without any hitches

Cheers Dude. It`s a no nonsense Frontend for the end user. Trouble is any help for tweaking and customizing it to what you want online seems to be thin on the ground or non existant ! there only seems to help getting packs that have already made and fixes if they don`t work for you. This maybe on purpose as they may not want too many people messing with it so that they don`t get caught up in an endless barrage of questions I suppose. Anyway I ended up installing a few different versions of Coin Ops with a whole load of packs and then reverse engineered much of it by looking at the structure, launchers, ini, cfg files to figure out how much of it was working and why what files are where etc. It was worth it though I think as I will be porting my CoinOps build over to at least 3 other Cabinets that I have lined up, yeahy

and I suppose that a lot of people invested a lot of time getting to grips with hyperspin and aren`t about to give up on it at this point whereas I only used the now extinct Maximus Arcade before and customized the look of it to death in recent times but in the end I felt that I had to move on .........

@@noiselabproject9659 You will have to make another video once you add to your other cabs , the coinops looks the best in these arcade cabinets in my opinion. Excellent

@@quantumfx2677 Cheers .... am starting to add more custom Menu videos, there`s some more now on my channel and I will be adding gameplay videos of various builds including the highend Android board build that`s inside a modest sized high end fighterstick plus the custom art on it and Menu system that I made for that too, it knocks the socks off all those chinese builds or the official mini consoles plus has a real scanline board, M.2 drive too .....

@@dussie920 ooops only just saw this : The pattern is from the Beatstep sequencer and the original bass sound I don`t quite remember there are several sounds layered onto it as well probably was the boutique Roloand JX-03 ...

Glad u liked it cheers, yeah the Minitaur is cool and I still have it. Since this vid I designed an overlay for and programmed an old UC-33 controller to get at it`s deeper functions on the fly and also I now utilise a DSI Mopho Box to provide extra ocillators via the Minitaur`s external audio in, plan to make a video of that sometime too

Hmmm that would certainly be nice, the under the hood functionality is now only accessible with a pc, something I want to avoid in my setup. I am very interested in your way of doing this, since I am quite new to midi programming!! I have seen a UC-33 on the 2nd hand market. I might just grab it in advance ;-)

many of us older Guys started with real synths, went `in the box` sometime long after and back mostly to real synths now that they are back again in force. You just can`t beat hands on if u know what you are doing. If I only had some decent space behind the gear like I had in a recording studio that I used to run then it wouldn`t be a pain, although I draw maps of my routing to compensate so not all bad
