Capacity is not measured in kW my friend.
Its 150 ah but conveterted to my net i have 8.5 kw availible in 230 v.
@@vanstippelen You should stipulate capacity in kWh not kW. THEREFORE : 22S (2.3V x 22 = 50.6V) 5P (30Ah x 5 = 150Ah) = 50.6V x 150Ah = 7.59kWh @ 2.3V/30Ah per cell and you have 110 x cells SO : You have a 7.59kWh battery.
Thats theory but the cell have a more capacity then 30ah it s about 166ah and ful charge en decharge i get app 8.5 kw due my inverter

Hello Jones, Wondering if the installation if doing good ? Is BMS and active balancer working fine ? Planning for a 60kWh battery capacity for 2/3 projects very soon and getting some research before launching
works fine, bms and balancer works ok div voltage max 0.1 volt

Hello Spike. Good job. I notice you're good in tasmota. I've followed your tuto, but now, I would like to expand my project with 8 PCF8574, just for a purpose of having 64 digital inputs. 1/ I noticed there is a physical default on this PCB. If you expect to chain 8 of them, you have to take off the resistances on the I²C SCL and SDA on at least 7 PCB. This is of course not a problem if you know that, but the choice of this module on this PCB is so easy to chain that you would expect more simple, as it's simple to change the adress and to make a chain without soldier. 2/ When you make your own .bin, there is an option to make the choice for a MCP23017 module. Did you ever tried this solution? 3/ I'va a few informations from users or Tasmota that says that There are only three separate rules sets called Rule1 , Rule2 and Rule3 . Each rule set can contain many rules. The number of rules that can fit in a rule set varies, but expect at least 1000 characters available per set (1000 might be 1024)... Following your tuto, it means that I've a text file that counts less than 2885 characters (counting the spaces): - Can you make 3 differents rules for less than 1000 characters each - do spaces count like 1 character - and by the way, do you have to name each PCB PCF8574-1, PCF8574-2, etc. and do you name toggle1 to toggle64? I noticed that you don't use Home Assistant as I do but Domoticz. i'd no problem for the .bin and I was expecting to use ESPHome for the pcb and now it has been added as an official integration, so may be my next mounting will be this on, may be just to compare the stability of both solutions esphome.io/components/pcf8574.html?highlight=pcf8574 Bonour de France.

Hi Johan very nice project, I read everything about it on your website But still have some questions: you took 22S BMS for 110 cells, that is one BMS cable for 5 cells, right? the 5 cells you put in parallel to form 150Ah, and the rest in series to form the 48V, right? How is the BMS going to control the 5 cells simultaneously? I asume you have very little voltage difference between the cells in each 5 block, right? You measured all of them and put together the ones that are close to each other? Because you can't put a 1,85V with a 2,7V together, right? Otherwise the BMS wouldn't know the exact differences between the cells themself, would it?
Cells in parralel will balance each other. Ofcourse if one cell is broken you ll have to check al the 5 cells. Project wors fine for more than 18 months. Cell difference voltage is about 0.01 to 0.05 volts
@@vanstippelen perfect! Thanks for the answer I think I want to build the pack as big as possible, the maximum BMS I saw is with 500A and I may buy 40Ah cells. That brings me to a maximum of 12 cells in parallel And maybe also 22 packs as you did Do you thing this bus bar can handle 480 Amps? Do you need in Belgium more of these cells? Maybe you will give me your email address and send you more information, I may buy a bulk of these (40Ah) Grade A

Always need a bms
Safest, longest lasting chemistry battery there is other than an Edison battery but the latter has terrible round trip efficiency, heavy require maintenance and a rebuild to match performance. LTO batteries have a little less round trip efficiency and cost more than the Lifepo4. No other commercially available battery can match the discharge current of a LTO battery.
Lto are 99 percent efficient

Hi, Thanks for the detailed description! How about the Growatt inverter? How big is the power consumption of the unit itself? Would you recommend this unit?
This is not an of gridd system and the power consumption form the inverter i think about 30W, Growatt is a good solide inverter and you have 10 year of warranty. and the Price for the inverter was also ok 5Kw inverter price about 1600 euro. On my first inverter i had a problem but they sent me a new one. www.SpikeTech.be their you can read al the information about this project, i'm also starting an new small offgrid project with 1.4KW battery.

Le truc que tu as du mal à comprendre c’est qu’à liège comme au cercle ou encore à l’union les supporters sont ps assez teube pour taper un mec juste prix qu’il porte la couleur du club d’en face.
