Caring for the carers: Translating wellness support for healthcare workers from research to practice
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in unprecedented and often devastating new circumstances for health care providers (HCPs), leading to an increased need for mental health prevention and early interventions efforts to support this critical workforce.
This virtual symposium discusses a collaboration between Homewood Health Centre, McMaster University, and Homewood Research Institute that has facilitated the development and implementation of evidence-based programs and customised clinical practices to support the mental health and well-being of HCPs.
