Funny... when my missus was expecting our firstborn.....we were living in Melville st, chester-le-street,....she had a craving for a banana.....so middle of winter i had to go out at 7.30 at night...i got a curry and a few beers and a banana from murray road.....on the way home walking in 6inches of snow....next to the railwayline, an intercity 125 was parked up lights ablazing.....i slipped went tits up, carrier bag into the night sky, salvaged my cans and a banana.....gave them a good laugh

in the late sixties i went every saturday to durham ice rink on a northern bus with my sis and her best friend, Stephanie Carr....we always went for a walk and looking for sticklebacks in the Wear, the smell, cold of the ice rink on wobbly feet...with classic music....to leaving Durham bus station on the top deck of a double decker bus wondering if was ganna topple ower
