I played the og Dead Rising on PC for the first time and the game already felt modern besides the crappy AI moments. The amount of items and zombies that can be on screen is truly incredible. And the attention to detail, attacks animations, and comedic elements make this game a masterpiece. "CLEAN UP ON RESISTER SIX!!"

I was disappointed with every other Dead Rising game. The difficulty in performing Franks moves improved the game. Having to memorize the move combos improved the game. It was a specific type of arcade game with a unique allure. Why couldn't they just improve it instead of changing it?

Note 2 for football tackle:NEVER tackle a wall or else you'll flop on the ground also the interactive skill moves (lift up,suplex,face crusher,hammer throw and disembowel) can be used on non-infected people! Like the special forces,bosses (maaybe not) and survivors oh and you can also do the karate chop (WITHOUT chopping) even as a level 1 and it only knocks zombies on the ground or maybe even kill them too though AND while doing the flip you can do a roundhouse i think if you simultaneously press attack

2:57 the football tackle move isn’t even in off the record as soon as I got to max level the developers never added the football tackle move and I don’t understand why

The one thing I dislike about the combat in this game is how ass backwards some of the inputs methods are, especially some of the throws which are really hard to pull off consistently. Dead Rising 2 did it much better, by using a button modifier instead of relying on directional button presses or awkward button combinations (double tap for dodging? really?). Still much better than 4, which had... nothing.
